  • Fab news that you got the all clear. :T:T:T.

How had hubby been lately. Has the larger dose of meds made him feel/act any better.?

Your hairdressers are a great price, not much different and if you know you get a decent job there, it might not be worth risking it ;).

Have a great day. Speak soon xx

Brilliant news about the all clear :j:j:j:j:j:j
And great news that all should be well when you try again.

When you find out about hair cut and colour at the college can you let me know please? I might be able to fit a visit in to the college when I am over your way some time. I am in desperate need

It is lovely to hear that you had a nice time with your old school friend. And that your boys get on so well together.

  • Mixed bag of a day! Got my hair cut and coloured for £27 which was great except for
    1) it took 4 hours
    2) the trainee didn't dry my curly hair properly so it looked more like frizz than curls, so I then had to sit while it was all straightened.
    3) it was snowing when I left so my lovely straight hair ended up a bedraggled mess anyway :(

Pooh, I shall find out about the college and report back on prices etc.

While I was at the hairdressers I got a text from DH stating that as his Mum's phone contract was up for renewal today, he was thinking of going with her to renew it while the boys and I were at the dentist later this afternoon. (MIL wouldn't do anything like that alone). Let's just say I wasn't exactly impressed that I was expected to cope in the dentist and somehow watch them whilst I had my own appointment (not so easy to keep a 3 year old in check while lying back in a chair with your mouth open!!). I more than likely over reacted but it pee'd me off no end that I hadn't apparently been considered or thought of. Anyway, he saw (read was forced to see!) the error of his judgement and it's been put off until tomorrow.

MIL has offered to buy DH a BMX  DH has found a local one for sale and they are going to look at it tomorrow after the phone shop. £80  Don't Even Get Me Started!!!!!

Dentist appointment went ok but only DS2 has 'perfect' teeth so DS1 and I have to go back the week after next for a little bit of work. Nothing major though so all good. Dentist also gave DS1 some dye tablets to show him where he might be missing when he brushes which I think is a fantastic idea.

Been to fat club and I've lost another 3lbs :j:j. DH has also been weighed today and he has lost 3lbs too! So I'm at 10lbs lost over 3 weeks and he's lost 9. Therefore I still win :rotfl:.

Steph, health wise DH has definitely levelled out since the increased dosage of pills kicked in. However, mood wise he is anything but levelled .

  • Woo hoo 10lbs in 3 weeks is amazing, LUCKY, well done you. Is the gym helping you to lose do you think? I really am very, very impressed. Will we recognise you now you are so slim with a new hair do?
