Thanks dawnybabes
It's certainly lovely to be back in Devon! The weather's great so far, fingers crossed it stays for a while!!
Keeping my spending and food diaries well. Had my first 'fast' day yesterday, wasn't as bad as I thought, actually. Was hungry but I survived. I always spend more down here than I do in London, feel like I'm on holiday here, so I'm not doing a budget for this week, just keeping track so I know I'm not being silly.
While I was in town I bumped into my dad. After some terrible excuses about why he hasn't been in touch and a comment about my weight gain, I walked away in tears. Things haven't gotten any easier between us.
Ah well, had a little glass of rose and feel a bit better. Took some anger out on some poor veggies when I was cooking dinner, they got chopped reeeeeeeeal good!
Another fast day tomorrow, hope it's as easy way yesterday, fingers crossed!2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Morning!
Decided today won't be a fast day, I'm seeing a friend this evening who I haven't seen in 5 years so there'll be a massive catch up over some dinner and wineto make up for it I'll walk the 6 miles to meet her.
I got the US account sorted this morning, just have to wait for it to get set up.
Just had a look at some photos from the new company I'll be working for, so exciting!! BUT I'm pretty sure I'll have to get out my tum out a lot, best start the sit ups!!2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Afternoon!
So got my box of carp out of mum's shed, hopefully found a few books and teddies I can pop on eBay, not to mention over 100 thimbles! Hopefully they'll earn me a few £££! I can but hope anyway
I've noticed on here that various people make a payment a day, however small, to a debt. I think that sounds like a brilliant idea!! Just paid £5.33 onto my credit card to round off the balance of my current account. If I can manage to put in a few pounds every day the balances will hopefully drop like stones without me missing the money. Well, that's the plan
Had a lovely dinner with my friend last night, we've promised each other we won't leave it six years before we meet again haha!
Off out again tonight, both my mates are skint having just moved, so hopefully it'll be a case of drinking wine and cooking dinner at one of theirs.2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Oh deary me, I'm never drinking again!!
Friday night was quite interesting... drank far too much wine, then my best guy friend declared his undying love for me. We've tried getting together twice in the past and we've always agreed we're better off as friends, so it was a bit of a shock!! I have no idea what to do about it. I guess maybe leave him alone for a while? We're both in relationships and I for one certainly don't want to jeopardise what I have with the bf. We've known each other since we were 11, he's one of my best friends. It's all a bit confusing!!
Anyway, aside from that, yesterday was a fast day (largely due to the hangover!), and I have to say the weight on this diet is falling off very quickly. As well as the fast days, I think I'm more conscious of what I'm eating on the other days, my chocolate cravings have definitely been reduced. I won't weigh myself until Wednesday when I get back to my own scales, but I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise!!
It's lovely being home, but I'm very much looking forward to getting back to London so I can get on the MSE trail again :T2019 Aim: Save £10,000

I'm feeling a bit down this evening, lots of little things I guess...
Some lady was rude to me in the pub earlier. My brother just walked into the lounge (ie my bedroom) because he 'needed' his game boy thing, which just makes me feel even more like an intruder in my childhood home. I miss the bf. I don't know how to handle the situation with my friend. I'm worried about money and SO annoyed with myself for not having the discipline I needed on the ship to save/pay off more.
It's all bothering me tonight. Sorry2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Woken up in a funny mood
You know when everything annoys the heck out of you? Maybe I'm hormonal!!:o
Anyway, made my PAD, only another pound but every little helps, as they say. And got my first payment from top cashback last night, £24.25 on my clubcard points. I'll be using that to fund my meals out for a bit
Off to visit my grandparents in a bit, it's been a year since I last saw them so really looking forward to it!!2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Evening!
What a grumpy g*t I've been! Yesterday was lovely, spent it with my aunty and grandparents, who fed me until I couldn't move, then fed me some more. Thank goodness it was a fast day today!!
Back in London. Much as I love my family, between sleeping on a too-short sofa and arguing with my brother I'm definitely ready to be back!!
Need to get back on the MSE trail too. I've had a look over my finances, and to keep the dreaded 'D' away from the end of my bank balance, I need to earn £1122 in the next two months. That's allowing for rent, travel, my credit card repayments, household shopping, money I owe the bf and three mini trips away, but doesn't include any contingency so that's the very minimum.
I've brought my thimbles up from home so will get those on eBay, along with a whole bunch of fitness magazines that I've kept because I'll DEFINITELY look in them again at some point, some clothes I don't wear any more, and any other bits and bobs that aren't nailed down
I'm also going to attempt a meal plan. Not very good at them but the only way you get better at things is if you practice, so I'll give it a bash and see what happens.2019 Aim: Save £10,000
