For the record, you can issue a cheque for just 1p. If they withdraw the 1p coin, I suppose that this would go up to 2p.

Just a quick update. Recieved a letter from Roxborough asking for £142 :rotfl:. Then the same day a phone call asking for daughter. I told them to go away and not to ring again or I would take them to court for harresment.:D. Two days later same woman rang from Roxborough asking for daughter, she was told once again to stop the harresment and to my surprise asked if I wanted her to take my phone number off the database, to which I suggested that would be a very good idea. So no more phone calls.:T. Now waiting for letter from Graham White so I can start to harrass him for a court date.:rotfl:. Please, please take this case to court Mr White.Hi Ho Silver Awayyyyyyyyyy0

Just a thought, as you have recent Roxburghe letters. Roxburghe are an AOS member.
Have you got the one that has a colourful footnote saying that the registered keeper is responsible?
If anyone here has got that letter, dated since June 2012, please send a complaint to the DVLA as per post #16 on this link:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=73108
If you are on pepipoo send a pm to Broadsword for an idea of what to say, but basically you just need to send a pic of any sign or letter saying that the rk is resonsible, tell the DVLA you know that this means an immediate 3 month+ ban on an AOS member from getting DVLA data. Say you have seen their email to the BPA dated June {see the link} and now require their confirmation that the ban has been enforced, and for how long.
You will have to act quickly, this coming week really, or else by the time the DVLA look at any complaint we'd be past 1st October and the complaint would be too late.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can't see anything like that on the letter, Maybe because we made the mistake of appelling at firstso they know who the driver was and wouldn't have needed to get info from DVLA.

Just another quick update which I hope will help "newbies" to understand they're not alone and the advise on here is sound.
First letter recieved from Grahame White ( "solicitors" :rotfl:) just as expected. Maybe if I get bored sometime I'll give Roxburghe a ring to interegate them about this Michael Sobell guy and why the letter has a photocopy signature..
btw, has anyone ever rung the real Grahame White solicitors and asked for Mr Sobell ?Hi Ho Silver Awayyyyyyyyyy0
