Can I be next weeks dilemma- my elderly neighbours have really nice stuff, and no dependants so its a bit wasted on them really so can I wait till they are asleep and break in? Please, I want nice things too.

Clearly he made a mistake putting her as the lead passenger but she should give his money back, not wait for him to ask for it back because it's not her money. Simples.

No, I think this is very clear.

Your ex paid for the holiday, it's therefore his money. It would be extremely dishonest to keep it.
