    Afternoon all

    Well done Master Chikadee :j

I went to meet DD1 from school and told her the good news - she's so happy - none of her friends find out until tomorrow as they didn't do their application online and they were all really chuffed for her. We're having chips from the chip van tonight to celebrate then off out with friends and their son who's just got into his school of choice too, for dinner on Saturday night (keeping it a surprise from the kids though and have agreed with the restaurant that we can go in and decorate the table with balloons etc)

Everything else has gone out the window today - I've literally done nothing around the house..... I must crack on with a few basics now though as I'm out tomorrow, out saturday and my parents are coming for a surprise celebration lunch on Sunday.

Hope you all have a great evening and hugs to all those in need.

    Thanks dlb was getting worried.

DS came 3rd in the school fancy dress competition for world book day! Not bad considering it was an adult size monk outfit - lol !
I wander if that was school's way of making up for recent events!

Just ironed clothes ready for later, also uniforms tomorrow. Think I will sit down with a brew.

    Bye for now
    Love Emma xxx

CCStar - so glad you are ok, what a horrible experience!

HAPPY ST DAVIDS DAY Kaz, and any others from Wales xxx

Pink - hope the foot is feeling better, def a birthday that will be remembered!!!

ageandjo - good luck with the painting, would offer to help, but i dont think you would want it (not my strongest subject!!!)

((HUGS)) to anyone feeling poorly, or down xxx

Nothing much happening here today, havnt opened my letter yet, might do tonight (bottle of wine and chocs will prob be needed) but might not, i will know when im ready.
Going to cheat tonight and buy some chips to go with our dinner - but will be cooking fish for me and sausages from the children myself. Talking of butchers sausages, how do you know if they are any good? We only have one butcher where i live, and seeing as he has the 'monopoly' he is quite expensive and ive never spoken to him so would know how to approach him. At least with Mr Ts, they have the meat content on the back of the pack (mind you, which piece of meat could be debatable, but then i suppose the same could be true of the butcher).
Right, going to have a cuppa before heading down to the chippy!!! (waiting for the last girl to go)

    Have a lovely evening everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Guys

Have had a very stressful day...not good at the hospital, then OH sent the cleaner home after about 20mins. The first thing she did was mop....OH asked if she wanted the broom to sweep before as it needed doing, but she said that she doesnt need to sweep and would give it a good going over with the mop......do I need to continue:eek:             ...im so glad i wasnt here. OH called me and I just burst into tears....he called the cleaning agency and spoke to the secretary...she was gobsmacked, then the boss left a message 5hrs later...saying he didnt understand as she has 2 other cleaning jobs:confused: ...who the hell cares....its me and I dont care about anyone else and their cleaning jobs:mad: ....Im paying £15 pw to him in agency fees. Do I have any rights?

Sorry to moan, but Im still really emotional about it and my house still needs cleaning.

I wish I was well enough to do my own bl**dy cleaning.

catowen ? Might help http://www.sausagelinks.co.uk/sausage_buying_guide.asp#1 we have one butcher nearish but since trying the farm shop ones, ok it's a bit further away, I know his aren't very nice :rotfl: also he doesn't have prices on anything, just makes it up as he goes along I think, what was £5 one week can be £10 the next, give up going for meat!

    Happy Birthday Hazzie

tiredmum think many schools are like that, we have a major issue with parents still driving into school car park who've been told not to, my kids ask to be taken in car, it's a 10 min walk, get told NO! Only been dropped off once in car this year when I had an appointment within 5 mins of dropping off time so had to dash.

hope you get sorted with the cleaner.

Dp moaning about Uni work again, saying doesn't know why he started the course, isn't interested etc etc I've ended up saying look I don't care, don't do it if you don't want to I am sick of hearing about it! He's shouting at me like I registered him on the course or am making him do it. I don't care. Sick of his moaning about it. It's probably because we've started another more challenging bit and he can't be bothered again.

Right, enough of me moaning about him moaning, DSs need putting to bathing/putting to bed, catch you all later, maybe.
One day I might be more organised...........
