lil-me - re insurance both DH and I due just around Xmas. Both quoted quite a bit higher. If time phone 0800 numbers or go on line for quotes to companies in yellow pages. I ended up with a renewal from my union (Unison) which I left 3 years ago because DS1 still on policy then rather too expensive. We both ended up circa £50 per annum cheaper although slightly higher excess. As neither of us had anything on policy since don't know when decided good deal. Felt it OK to take £150 excess - we usually had £100 but felt lower premium worth the risk. Worth the time I think.

so i am writing to complain. want to make it snappy and a strong letter though.
also feeling quite vulnerable as there was a drugs raid across the road today and i don't know if they got anyone.... and this morning i went to put my recycling out and someone was dealing (i think) next to my bin
