Hello everyone late posting today busy at work only a day and half now till weekend hooray.
Congratulations Miss Pooky and Master Chickadee and everyone else who has got their chosen school.
Hugs to Pink-winged and CCStar both incidents sounded really scary and hope you are both recovering well.
Cant wait till 9am tomorrow morning when I will be trying for Take That tickets along with thousands of others I am sure, makes it worse that we really only want fri or sat night otherwise dd3 and nieces will have to take some time off school and not sure what the school would say about that so better not risk that one.
Got some bacon offcuts to use up tonight so we will be having spagetti Carbonara and garlic bread.

    Take care everyone

    Good morning all

Back to work for me today which is a relief after 3 days of catching the early morning train to London.

Hope everyone is well, haven't really had much time to keep up with the daily thread for the past few days, so apologies if I've missed anything, congrats where congrats are due.

I managed to get a few pictures of my sister and the new baby when I went to visit her, though they aren't as good as I was hoping for. My neice has really taken to being a big sister, which is a good thing cos at Christmas she stood on her doll and said it was ok cos it didn't cry !!

Meal planning and grocery shopping when I get home tonight, plus catching up on the housework, my study is a right mess !!

Have a good day everyone and hugs to everyone

    Hi everyone!
Hello to all newbies and hugs to those who need them.
Due back in a min so mustn't be too waffley!! Been a good OS girl today and have hoovered throughout, put dark load on, swept floors, made beds and sorted out the muddle left behind by the small person. My attempts to get him to tidy up for 5 mins before bedtime are most definitely falling on deaf ears.
Tonight I shall be doing the shopping list. Tip is that Wilkos are now doing 4pt milk for 91p as opposed to MR T at £1.11. then I shall squidge my ample rump into my armchair and settle down to watch the TimeTeam special on C4 and do some more Xstitch. Well that's the plan anyway!
Hope you all have a reasonable Thursday

    Hello everybody,

    Welcome NHSslave

Happy St Davids's day to the Welsh OS'ers

(((((hugs))))) and good luck to all the kids who are waiting for placements.

Well I won nothing at Bingo last night. Some things never change. Nice breezy day here so tackled all the washing and cleaned the house. Vacumed, washed floor, dusted etc. Just off to go visiting shortly.

DD rang this morning. Had to go to the dr's yesterday & they ran some tests. She should get them back next week but it sounds to me she's intolerant to some food type she's eating which is making her sick all time. I told her it might be her cooking :D as she wasn't like this when I cooked. :p Our dr's appt went well and the dr was very nice.

Pink Ouch. Lucky it didn't land on your hand. It would have affected your typing abilities. :D

Might pop back later. Hope your day so far has been a happy one. Byeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Good Afternoon All

Have rushed thro thread so (((hugs))) to anyone who needs them. Congrats to those who have got their school of choice & good luck to those still waiting.

Lovely sunny but freezing cold wind in Essex today. Have deep cleaned the kitchen and hob, washed the floors and dogs bedding. OH & myself took dog for a long walk and treated ourselves to a pub lunch - walked along the seafront - that certainly blew the cobwebs away.

Have wm on empty wash with soda crystals and just about to swish bathrooms, hoover rest of house & wash the rest of the downstairs floors. Amazing - nothing like a bit of sunshine to boost the old energy levels.

    Best get on again.

Dinner tonight is lamb chops and j pots for OH & me. Pasta for the kids.
