Tesco Watford and Hemel Hempstead have been closed this week. Would this this be anything to do with the contaminated fuel?0

I filled up with unleaded petrol at Tesco Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 15th March at 13.21. The engine management light on my Ford Focus came on shortly afterwards. Dropped it off at my local dealer this morning and they told me it needed a new catalytic converter assembly. Just picked it up and it cost me £415.85. Is this just me or has anyone else filling up in Hemel had problems?
1. Unleaded
2. South East
3. Tesco Hemel Hempstead (Jarman Park)

You haven't got the lottery numbers by any chance have you!0 -
It makes me smile a little when people say that certain brands of petrol are better than others. I deliver petrol and can tell you that ALL supermarket petrol is loaded from the same tanks as Shell, BP, Esso and Chevron (Texaco). Morrisons for instance load from Esso, Chevron and BP and probably others too so if their petrol is contaminated so are the others. Just for the record supermarkets approached the major oil companies to supply them years before they actually started stocking fuel and were refused. Now of course they undercut everyone else and use it as a loss leader for their stores. This has cause the closure of thousands of rural sites and many urban ones too. So athough lots of people think its great to have cheap fuel, just wait til they have cornered the market!! Be warned!0
