I have recently had problems with these scammers also, filled out a comparison loan quote on auto trader which resulted in Yes loans calling me asked for my card details as confirmation of who i was ,then at end of call said they would take a fee i refused and so it goes on !!! At present i have Faxed a cancellation to them and have had this confirmed verbally that they will not take any payments from me . has anyone had written cancellation from these people and if so how long does it take to come .I am still worried at some point they will take my money.0

Yes Loans prey on the vulnerability of people who have reached desperation point for credit.
If it was made absolutely clear on the home page of their website that the fee is taken regardless of a loan being granted from a third party, would that make people think twice?
Giving out your bank account/credit card details should be enough warning bells not to proceed, but sadly a section of the public fail to twig.0 -

What about them passing details on to INDIAN scam artists who threaten and know my home address? Stop being a do-gooder and live in the real world - THESE PEOPLE ARE OUT TO CON PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY.
If you have an explanation in the defense of YES LOANS for the threats i have recieved due to them passing my details on - do let me know. You either work for these people or are seriously wet behind the ears.
Having been there longer I now realise they are a bunch of scam artists.0 -

they do they are thieves, i am still waiting 3 months for my refund!!0 -
I have been waiting since May for my refund. Everytime i call i am told it will take 3-5 working days to recive my money back. Two months later and nothing. Several calls and letters. I have spent more than the fee on Phone calls. I have written into WATCHDOG on the bbc. I ask everyone who is fed up with them to do the same. Maybe the spotlight will make them change there ways and pay us poor "customers" back!!!!!!0

Don't underestimate the power of financial desperation can have on people.
I nearly got into bed with this lot too due to my dire situation at present but after reading the terms & conditions in the letter they sent me as well as checking this forum I've just managed to dodge a bullet.
Stupidly though I did provide them with my card details but since the fee payment isn't due until the 16th I'll be tearing up my current bank card, so I win....sort of....
So yeah, I reiterate the sentiments of almost everyone here. No matter how desperate your financial situation is, stay away from these scumbags or those of a similar nature.0 -

It was going so well. Good luck dude, but please check your bank statement like...right now!0 -
I recently applied to Yes Loans for £3,000. After giving all my details they said I was approved for the loan and that they would charge £69.50 as they were a broker ( which I did not know until they said). There was so much noise in the back ground it was difficuly to hear what they were saying. I took it that they would not take the money out until I had received my loan in full. I was then passed to a Loan Adviser and was then cut off.
The next day I received an e-mail from A payday loans company saying £300 would be put into my acount within the hour. I did not ask or require this loan. I phoned Yes Loans and the girl I spoke to said that it was to tie me over until the rquested loan was paid into my account. Never having to do this before I followed her instructions. It turns out that no loan has been approved from any company.
I received a phone call today from someone claiming to be from Yes Loans requesting further personal details. I called the number back and it was not Yes Loans.
After now reading this forum I know I have been well and truly conned. Please can anyone give me any further advice?0
