Wow Jemma, what a round up , it must have taken you all night!:T
Have been very, very good this week although I suddenly realised this morning that I only leave the house to go to work, do the school run and take the dog out!Having a girls night out next week which will be done on the cheap, and as it's on a school night there won't be too much alcohol as I can't take it any more. The side effects of being frugal!:rotfl::rotfl:
Withdrew my latest funds from PayPal so have paid another £40.50 to the card, total now #319 £3260.45/£6109.94.
When I get it below £2k that'll be the lowest amount of debt we'll have had since we moved to this house almost 6 years ago!:)
Have a good Thursday everyone, see if you can spare a £1 to your debt!:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

MrsNoMoney – Hello!!! Welcome to the team, sorry I’ve not said it before but you’re now on the first page with your very own number. Fantastic about the no smoking hun YAY!!! BTW, how did it go finding a coin machine that didn’t charge? x
Unfortunately didnt find a free one that was close enough to not have to pay bus fares to (which would be more than the commission from coinstar) so i just decided to take it to tesco. There was only £30 of change, expected it to be more lol, but every penny counts.
Just put a few things on ebay so hopefully i'll get them sold to pay off some of the unexpected Overdraft debt thats appeared.
Payday tomorrow....cant wait to get some debt paid. Mainly so my figures dont look so pathetic :rotfl:xMoney Owed: £431 OD, £2,870 CC, £486 CC, £2,025 Loan = £5,812£514/£5812

Antonia1 – oh hun, I really really hope he doesn’t mess you about. Please stick to your guns and don’t get involved with him again hun as he was seeing someone else before and he will do it again I guarantee you. I just want to give you a really big hug x
Thanks Jemma, tho I don't hug, so probs best if you stay away from me :rotfl:. To be fair I'm pretty sure he wasn't seeing her when we were together (I know that sounds like wishful thinking, but I have asked millions of opinions, including my mum, and they all seem to agree. As an aside my mum would normally assume everyone is cheating cos my dad had an affair while she was pregnant with me , and my step-dad is an awesome judge of character so I trust their opinions way more than my own). I just want to have some fun for a bit, nothing serious. And he's promised to take me to the Millau Viaduct (and I'm such a geek that swung it for me :rotfl:.fallenwiccan wrote: »Pay day tomorrow which means payslip day today *yay* I'm an almighty £14.44 better off a month thanks to the tax code change. However I'm sure I should have started paying my Student Loan back this month and nothing has been taken. I know I shouldn't worry but I'm going to work out how much it is and set it aside because apparently they can be a right pain in the !!!!! if you should be paying back and don't.
Fallen - this happened to me and the student loans people were fine. I think if you make the effort to get it sorted pretty sharpish then they don't get annoyed, and they also don't take money from previous payslips. So I ended up paying from about June, but didn't have to pay back for April or May. Defo worth sorting out tho, cos if they notice and you haven't made any effort to sort it then they can be pretty harsh.
I probs shouldn't be writing this here (but I'm so excited), I have been accepted on a PGCE place to teach secondary maths and physics at Durham :j:j:j. Going to wait til Tues to hand my notice in tho, cos my line manager isn't back in til then (and I'd rather talk directly to him cos he's been really nice to me). I am moving back in with parents for the summer, and so my new debt-free date should be (fingers crossed) end of August.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Thanks, Just spent half an hour on the phone with them. Apparently the problem was because I had to resit my third year (of a 4 year course) and because I informed my local authority not them (they were in charge of my account at the time) then they had no evidence I was resitting. Then I didn't go on to do the 4th year (Masters year) I just graduated with a BSc it confused things more so although my account was cancelled the computer didn't like it. Why this didn't flag up when I was resitting the year and didn't pay me I have no idea. But they've set it all up and I should start paying in 3 months time.
Congrats on getting into a PGCE course especially Durham, a very good university.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Wow Avogirly your well off the mark now, and good thinking with the straighners, very satisfying to get them for free! Good luck with meeting the wedding photographer, and remember they need your business too so don't be afraid to negotiate.
Thanks, feeling really good now, just have to make sure I keep it up now!
Had a great meeting with the photographer and he has given us a really good deal. I felt really comfortable with him and he made us both feel really relaxed. Tonight we are meeting with the caterers, we're thinking of having bangers and mash and want to use all local produce.October make £10/day currently £11.020
