Sticking to a budget on holiday is soooooooooo hard. I also never have spare money for extra payments, but I like to think that's just cos I'm so good at doing a budget :rotfl:.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Pay Day, need to check my bank balance desperately when I get home and sort out the credit cards. Don't think I'll be saving any until later in the month as I know we'll have less money this month and next due to OH being on SSP. hoping he's well enough for us to have a trip to the metrocentre next week, I'll treat him to The Avengers at the IMAX to make up for him missing his gig tonight.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Got my payslip today and my share money isn't in it
It seems with the easter bank holidays, it took them right up to the cut-off point to sort them out. So now me and loads of others have to wait until the end of May for the money... I'd have waited to sell them had I known I would have had to wait 2 months to get the money! So annoyed.... lucky we get paid on my second day in Hong Kong so it's not tooooo bad but I'd quite like to have had the money now to know it's there, and how much it is.

Morning all!
hubby has gone away for the weekend :j so I'm looking forward to a peaceful, footy-free weekend with the bed and tv remote all to myselfWill have to share the bed with the 4 kitties but have washed their fave fleece and going to put it on his side of the bed so at least I won't have to share my side for a change
Should be a very MSE and healthy weekend too. Got friends coming round on Sunday for a bit of a buffet tea but that's all I have planned. No need to go out shopping or anything like that, bliss!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx0 -
Ahh thank you for that, I have had a quick scout on tesco mobile (as well as all the others :rotfl:) one thing we have decided is that as hes off to secondary school we wont just get him the cheapest phone we can find, we want something half decent (street cred and all that, last thing any parent wants is their kid to be laughed at) he isnt getting anything anywhere near an iphone though, so am looking at the HTC atm as it looks a pretty nice phone without being majorly expensive and liable to walking off with another kid while hes out doing gym or something
We have just had a fair deal with the htc for £12 a month 200 mins 200 texts and 2g of data which apparently is ample for most things so plenty of deals around with talkmobile xx fab fones too xLOST 7ST 1/2LB July-groc chal £209/£300
