I've been lurking but not posting as I've been using my phone/tablet instead of my laptop whilst I've been on a training course.
I've found a website that tells me where the nearest outlet villages are :D so on Tuesday I shall pop by the one in Braintree and purchase more chocolate as I'm running low, saves me a small fortune when you can get 6 dbl deckers for £1.20 instead of the normal 87p each in the petrol station!!! I need a new cardigan from g@p too, and they're 30% off in the outlet plus I have a further 15% off outlet shop voucher so I'll take that with me.

No debt busting now until payday on Monday, cannot wait to kick some more debt bottom.

  • What is it with me and tech breaking?! My ipod refuses to play music. It looks as if it's doing it but no sounds come out using the headphone jack or the dock connector on my hifi :( It will connect to a computer but I really don't know what to do.

Might risk taking it to the apple store and asking advice but it's at least 5 years old so :(

Happy Friday everyone! It's the weekend and my mum, bless her, gave me a bottle of wine today so me and DH will be  later! We used to have a bottle every night, stick the cost of that in the demotivator and see how much we've frittered away over 20 years, it's :eek::eek:.

I am in a very happy mood as have paid another £170 off the card. So #319 £3430.45/6109.94.

DH is working an extra day tomorrow, bless him, so that's more money for the pot. Am getting very, very excited at the prospect of being debt free. First thing we save up for is the boiler, then a log burner, lovely! We're already saving up all the sticks the dog finds on his walks. And I've promised the kids we'll save up for an aeroplane holiday! I'm afraid it's camping weekends this year, but they don't mind.

    Have a fab weekend.:D

What model is it? I can't remember which one, but they are replacing all of a certain model from a few years ago cos of a fire risk... might be worth a look :)

  • Sorry I've been MIA but I've been revising for an exam which is in a week and a half (like a good girl :A:rotfl:). However, when that's done I'm off til September - yay!

We've been paid today but not had time to sort out debt payments yet so will have to do that tomorrow - no time today as I'm off out tonight :) - work hard, play hard, that's my motto!

Anyway, I hope those who are ill get better soon.

Well done to all those who've paid off some of their debts :j.

*Hugs* to all those who are struggling to keep motivated - it's very tough.

Hopefully I'll be back to report some debt payments tomorrow :).

Unless i can find £4k a month from somewhere this just will not happen this year. I wil give it a go and try to clear at least half so £15k in 7 months, here i go :)

Direct Debit for a loan and a bit more cash smuggled into the savings account. Not quite getting to 40% by the end of April, but at least I'm well on the way, and with Sharesave for work maturing in the summer, still well on track to getting it all out the way.

Great work everyone, hope nobody's being tempted by spending. :A
