Sorry I've not been on - this has been quite a manic month (and more expensive than usual) so this morning is the first time I've had to look at finances again. Can't believe we're on a third thread and 15 pages in so far!
Don't know if I said, but i got the job I went for back at the end of March. It's a promotion for me -not loads more money, but the role i really want. Also a downside is the increased commute, from 7 mins to 45! So petrol costs are going to soar, but it's the right job for me and I'll just have to cut back a bit.
It's been a busy month, with a friend's wedding, school holidays in Cornwall etc, so I haven't been able to make any extra payments - sadly it's just my DD that has come out, but I suppose it all counts, and it's a little bit more off my debt. I just checked my bank balance and I'm still about £100 in credit, with pay day on Tuesday, so actually it could have been a lot worse.
I do need to buy some new bras - and I've been putting it off as they are so expensive (ladies with small boobs - you don't know how lucky you are!!) so I'll have to get on to Bravissimo and place a 'large' order
So, bit of a rubbish update for me:
#38 new total £694.33 /£2529.33
I'll be back on here more frequently now, so looking forward to keeping up with how everyone is doing

Sorry not been here for a while. Can't believe this is the 3rd thread everyone has been sooo busy.
Not much to report on the money front. So I have trod water for a while, with nothing to report, however we haven't sank further into debt which is good news. I have had to spend some money on training so this has hampered our results and we have paid for dd to pass her driving test, so hey ho. (It will make her more employable and help her when she starts uni in september)
I have been busy with a partner setting up a NFP company, ultimately I should have a wage from this (hopefully towards the end of the year) but the point was the profit would go back into the business to help people who find it difficult to gain employment for a variety of reasons.
So I will save this thread to my favourites again and try to visit more and start to reduce this debtMy finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -

I'm off to go and look at the craft fair I'm going to have a stall at next month in a minute. But I wanted to make my daily payment to my c/c first. I've rounded it up to the £ again as the odd number was playing havoc with my OCD
It also means that in a few days time my c/c will be half paid off
I can't believe the only way I could do it was by cutting it up though, I wonder if I'll have to do that with the OD as well just to get rid of it, that could be "interesting" to say the least. Or maybe get the OH to change my ppal a/c password until I can be more responsible with my online shopping.
So...

Kerri how did the craft fair go?
Welcome back to some of you
Had a lovely day today, went to the zoo with Mr S and his friend + gf, then chinese for dinner and watched Madagascar 2. Mr S is in bed now feeling sorry for himself as he now has a dodgy tummy!
Now, is it me or this a bit odd/rude? We were talking about getting into town for dinner so Mr S said he would call a taxi, thinking we were all having a drink so not driving. The friends GF proceeded to have a lemonade with dinner, and they have just driven home. Surely if you knew you weren't going to have a drink, you would offer to drive? Rather than let us pay for a taxi? It's not particularly major, but when she barely talks to the point of being rude, it's even more frustrating!
It's very quiet on here today, hope you are all off having a nice weekendBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
