No payment for me today (starting to feel withdrawal ) but saved myself the cost of a sunday dinner as Gran invited us all there as my sister and BIL had come down for the weekend. So a lovely free dinner and a NSD for me today
Miss Lily is on the mend, shes still off her food but trying her best to be her usual bouncy self, and is currently jumping round the room with Angelina Ballerina :rotfl:
Might have a look at the bank and see if I can find a few pennies to pay toward a CCSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Well I've got the first week of my new job under my belt and a tough start it was too. It takes me ages to settle into a new place-boo hoo woe is me etc etc. take no notice-I just like to moan. Well done to SAVINGFORARAINYDAY and MISSINFORMATION who sound enthusiastic about their chosen careers. :j
My son won a big running competition this week. I just look on awe, to think that 2 big heffalumps like his father and I managed to produce someone who runs like a cheetah! That was absolutely the highlight of my week!
Canucksfan#249- Another $600 added - $12500/17418.95
Well done to your son! I hope you settle in quickly to your new job - it's always stressful when you have to change things and get used to everything being different.Gordon Bennett,
10 pages to catch up! Well its been about a week and I really have fallen off the wagon and I think I see where so back to normal for Monday for payday!
Little one has had this stomach bug thats going round so ended buying him a few things to cheer him up. However when I totted it all felt so guilty because of how much I have spent! Out of the £1,751.19 payments I made I only paid off £721.30! Oh dear! There is no justifying it at all however having been good for 5 months I was bound to a wobble at some point!
Anyway next week looks like its going to be a busy already so going to jump ahead for Monday morning and pop my totals on now so makes life a bit easier.
No 149 total paid off £7,564.18. Total paid off 53.05%
Even more annoyed with myself. Anyway onwards and upwards!
Don't feel guilty - it's impossible to be good all the time. I had a wobble last week and felt terrible but the good people on this site made me realise how much progress we have all made towards our goals. A little wobble every now and again is bound to happen but we'll get there in the end.

I had a struggle had to reload 3 times before I got on!
Thanks for your kind words everyone. Think I have to face up to the fact its the end result not how fast you get there.
Therefore going to slow down a touch. It knocks my debt free date a bit but still to make it to the end of the year. But whats the point of being debt free with husband ready to leave me and me in a padded cell muttering "MSE" under my breath & about Kerri's used bra's and babble taxi's!
PS Jakes mum I can see you laughing at me now!0 -

I may have smirked at the MSE mantra, but surely whilst in your cell you would be making your own knickers??
As alot have said, being debt free is important but to forget to live while your on the journey will not make it an easy ride or keep the motivation going.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Sorry just popped in and off out again so I haven't read everyone else's posts (hope everyone is ok!!) but wanted to quickly record some good news. I've got very mixed feelings about this as I'm still a bit broody but I have sold my pram and so made a payment of £95 to clear DH's Santander card :j:j:j
Next...the Barclaycard!! All £7.5k of it!!
Payday is on Wednesday and then another one Friday. As it stands we are on:
#084 £6020 / £58000
Well done for selling the pram, I know how you feel I have held onto mine for the last few years in hope but I have had a few miscarriages on the way and today I took a positive step in actually sorting out all my baby stuff into piles for giving away and selling.
Jakes Mum - thanks for the advice on sky I am not paying half price for the next year:DPay off ALL my debt by Xmas 2012 ChallengePaid Jan £1027.83/Feb £917.97/Mar £1353.67/Apr £1367.19#259 Total £4643.67/£12,636:eek:Lose 14lbs in 2012 9/14lbs:eek::TJanuary Grocery Challenge £263.98/£300:TFebruary Grocery Challenge £0/£300
