Payday today and I've made my final payments for 2012
    Mrsyallop#238? 6103.59 / 8327.54
So I got to 73.2% which, considering my car was written off I'm pretty pleased with what I've achieved. Just over 2 grand to pay off next year and I'm going to bring my mortgage down so that I'm not in negative equity! Bring it on!

Oooh new shiny signature AND new spreadsheet with a big, fat, shiny ZERO on it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Will have a chat with Jemma and get the new thread running at the weekend peeps, I can't wait :j:j

Oh my gosh its all very exciting!! :j I will need to have a recalculate for next year, I've been spending on one card which I've ben ignoring  as there is nothing I can do about it right now. Hoping that PPI and bank charges claiming will get returned next year and help me pay a huge chunk off it. I am going to include ALL my other debt though and aim to have that gone by 2013, then at least I only have one card to focus on for 2014 and I may be able to switch it to interest free by then. Phew it's a long old slog but I've only just managed to get my income over the £600p/m mark again. Silly debt, i'd have more than enough money without it!
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

Payday for me on Friday (no change due to Xmas) so hoping to hammer the CC debt although I have a few family birthdays in January (incl BIL's 40th, mum and dad) so need to consider this and not pay off too much that I end up using it again (as I have done the past two months) I was thinking of paying the minimum initially and then making a weekly CC repayment. Do any of you do this and does it work?

My thinking is that maybe budgetting weekly instead of monthly might help me budget better.

    Started £5647.63 / Paid off £4547.63 or 81%

So not all of it but a BIG chunk of it. :T:T:T

Only small payments this month because of Christmas expenses but just enough to round to a whole number and increase to 81% (although if I was doing ' decimal points' I'd be still on 80.55 :o)

Really looking forward to getting the final £1100 paid off in 2013 and breathing a HUGE sigh of relief :j

Right I have been onto PAMAYC2013 thread to declare what my target to pay off is. I have given myself a managable one...and I hope that I can be debt free by Xmas 2013:xmastree:
I really feel that my target is do-able as I have spent the last 6months of the year REALLY trying to up my income in order to do this. Come January I should be earning quite a bit more so..... The debt is going.
What else can I do outside of work to boost my income guys. Obvs I've got fleabay but I had thought about crafting. I do like making things but I wouldn't know what to make. Does anyone know what sells well? I like sewing :D
Also I want to have a look at facebook selling but I don't really know where to start?

I've just been super duper efficient and setup standing orders from my current account to my savings accounts for the "big spends" that happen in the year, contact lenses, dentist, car insurance, car tax, presents, etc :D I suddenly feel like a grown up.

wow! I need to do that too, just need to persuade OH (i've been trying for about two years) but I might wait until things are a bit more comfortable, otherwise I'll have to dip into it all the time.

Haha kerri I'm not getting at people who give Christmas card money to charity, just the ones who tell you 'that' tone of voice...
