The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge - PART 3!!!
Comments
-
Ok I am going to stick with current debt - I am going to see it through to the very end (I am very good at starting things & not finishing them and this is TOO important to do that lol)
# 234 £10480/£12468 84% paid off!
My next payday is New Year's Eve which is the anniversary of starting this challenge. Although I didn't pay all debt off by 1st Nov as I hoped or even Xmas, I am still very pleased that I have stuck with it as the previous years of trying really didn't get me anywhere!
I have paid off nearly £10,000!!! Not bad for a single mum. I am going to have a lovely Xmas with my family and some relaxed spending rules - then back on the straight and narrow in the New Year until the debt is completely eliminated!
Good Luck everyone with the new challenge and I hope you all feel proud of your effort over the last year

JM is the OH ok? That doesn't sound very good.his_missus wrote: »Oh J-M, hope Hubby is ok. sending you ((hugs))
Well hes annoying me senseless so obviously feeling better
He keeps moaning his bum hurts, I always said he was a pain in the A** :rotfl:
His throat is still up and he struggled through some soup for dinner (couldnt get the bread down) but his temp has come down again so I think its tonsilitis, have to keep reminding him to take his penicillin (how hard is it really! take yours when I take mine!) and to take pain killers, I swear I have 3 kids
Right on a more debt related note, having had a good think about what I want to save for on the new thread, I really dont want to be as rigorous as this year and want us both to have a little bit of play money so am thinking I want to save £4K toward a new car by xmas 2013 to go with the £1300 we already have. If I can get it to £6k then that would be awesome but we will just see how we goSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000 -

Mission accomplished and successful...our beautiful son was delivered safely yesterday morning. No name yet- he is lovely and rolypoly! He had to go to the Neonatal Unit initially as his lungs were a bit wet due to the c section delivery, but he is back with me now

Thanks for all your kind wishes gang and I'll post a piccie of THE most scrumptious boy in the Universe as soon as I get home xxx'You've got to tell your money what to do or it will leave!' Dave Ramsey0 -

At the minute im not sure as hes still in quite a bit of pain, in all honesty after the scare he gave me last night I dont care whether I have a present or not
Knowing him he'll drag the jakester out in the car, park outside the shop and give him the £50 to get me something, its the way he works. He did say last night (whilst doped up) that he had had an epiphany and knew exactly what he was getting me  whether that was just the drugs talking remains to be seen :rotfl:
Ooooo canuckfan, congrats on your little boy :j:j I still vote for 'debt free' as the middle name
