 full price wrapping paper and tree decs??? *faints* I thought that's what January was for :rotfl: you should have asked me I've got about 12 rolls of wrapping paper under my bed :o

Why is it I go shopping with £100 and buy an entire wardrobe (including coat), DH goes with the same money and ends up with 1 pair of jeans, 2 jumpers and 2 tops?? :rotfl:

  • Woohoo!

3 cake orders for delivery in the next month should chip a bit more away.

Details of first not confirmed but the same lady spent £200 last year  Profit was about £140-£150. Not expecting such a big order this year but still should help. Second wont make much as for a friend who I know is also v. broke so using it as a chance to practice and hopefully she can spread the word for me - just covering costs. Third is a big deal - final design/price not confirmed but expecting £80 - £100ish in profit :T Not due until new year though.

Still a little concerned that OH hasn't cancelled his OD limit with the bank yet. Trying not to nag too much but the thought that his building it back up again makes me feel a bit queasy!!

    xx

  • Loved the Slag Oil slip :rotfl:

I have been away for the weekend and feel so renewed and filled up with good times. We definitely need holidays etc to keep us on the debt free path. Booking the summer holiday is a double whammy because you have so looong to look forward to it as well as the actual event. Well done OH for getting you tipsy :D

It is great to see so many people now nearing the end of the debt free challenge :j Very inspirational.

In defence, the tree decorations had a third off and we did argue in the shop about which wrapping paper was the cheapest and I lost :o, Normally we have some left over but DD1 has a thing for rolls of wrapping paper (unrolling, covering her toys with it and generally scrunching it up) so that its completely unusable.

  • Who didn't cross their fingers? :naughty:
Turns out the garage didn't diagnose the problem, they just assumed it was brakes, and found something brake related to fix  have had to take it back, as today one of the dashboard warning lights came on, and this time I forced him to come out on a test drive. Not impressed though, as he came so close to driving into another car right where I had my accident last year.

It may be 110 sleeps til I'm debt free now, but it will still be before Easter I think.

  • I bought something last week on my debit card. The money was deducted from my available balance as usual but when I checked yesterday it had been released back into my account! It's been a week since the purchase. How long do you think I should leave it there incase they take it again?
