Jemma, hope you're recovering from your surgery ok.
His Missus, I set my dfd back because I bought my bed but I don't regret it at all, I've had the best nights sleep I've ever had because of it. I got it from w4rren3vans, definitely worth the money and it's so well made that it was easy to transport from London to Cardiff.....it's soooo high too
I'm on a 20hr shift today, think of the money, think of the money, time and a half means 2/3 of a weeks wage just for the one dayand as long as nothing goes wrong I shouldn't have to do anything...looking good so far
Hope you all have fabby doody weekends xDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

No, I don't think so, but who am I to complain? Cut up all the salmon last night into some quite big bits and put them in the freezer, making 4 meals (including what we had last night), not bad at £1 a meal!
Congratulations spag bol :j:j:j what a fantastic achievement!
And well done to Jemma:T:T:T
I to am in a very reflective mood, and have been for a few days now. I don't know if it's because the weather is turning or not or that everyone I know is talking about xmasI've been thinking about what I my target for next year should be, considering I'm going to hit around 50% of what I thought I could pay off this year, but I'm undecided.
Also have been thinking about things I would like to do when we are debt free, although I will have the mantra that if I haven't got the money, I can't spend it. I would love to spend a night or too in a really expensive hotel - just the hubby and meand I might push the boat out and hire a window cleaner as I hate having dirty windows and hate cleaning them. Has anyone else got a wish list of things you want to do when you're debt free?
Oops, nearly forgot, I have an update as well, the statement for my cc has come out today, and the food shop and toiletries didn't make it, but my overpayment did, so the figures look slightly better than they are:
#304 £1,696.41/£5,210.12 (32.56%)
I know it's a cheeky bit of accounting, but I like it
Mmm
1.Buy myself some shoes (mine have got holes inand I'm trying not to replace before Xmas)
2. Buy myself some clothes (I haven't spent ANY money on clothes this year for myself)
3. Get an emergency pot of say £1000
4. Finish plastering and decorating our bedroom and move into it.
5. Overpay the mortgage
6. Have laser hair removal
7. Buy DH an ipod or MP3 player so he can listen to music when he's at work.
All those things make me want to get DF as soon as poss, but before I get foot rot in particular.:rotfl:Life's little instructions- Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated..Watch a sunrise at least once a year..Strive for excellence not perfection:j£2 SC no.70 £140/£350SPC no.73 SPC9 £248 SPC10 target £250DFBX12 No. 069 £7719 / £7719 DEBT FREE 30/11/122013 mfw No.4 MORTGAGE FREE 5/8/130 -

Jakes-mum I remember you saying ages ago that you've sold empty perfume bottles on fleabay- how much does it cost for postage?
I've got one I'm tempted to try to sell... Others charge about £3 postage, but thought that might be a little steep?0 -

Evening all!
We've order a bed from Mr Argoose, got a silentnight divan (half price sale was £800, now £400) and a headboard (£104 eek!) but found an email I had for £100 off £500 spend on furniture with special code so £900+ bed for £413 WITH delivery:D Local brand too (well it used to be, not sure if it still is)
Went to the gym this morn, seems ok apart from the condescending guy who showed us round - "You'll lose weight when you start at the gym 3 times a week" "No shhhh sherlock!" I muttered. Only DH, who is desperate to join has to get a drs note because his blood pressure is very high, mine's ok - smug? oh yes I was :rotfl:
So I convinced him to go on a walk this aft as the sun was shining, we did 10.94miles, aching now.
Oh and last night, my other bessie had free tix for ice hockey so a very :money: evening out. Really enjoyed it too, no idea what was going on but it appealed to my aggressive side:D0 -
