Well done to choclovers DH - thats fab. I sold 4 items last night, including a BN pair of next trousers that DS never wore. They went for £1 more than I paid for them :D True to form, 3 items have been paid for & I'm waiting on 1, so I'll need to do 2 trips to the PO

Hope you start to feel better soon Jakes-Mum. Go and camp out at the docs til they give you something that works & doesn't make you sick.

Today is my birthday so I've had to buy cakes for everyone in the office. I was a bit cheapskate & bought a few nice cakes & a load of jam doughtnuts All the nice ones were gone within minutes - he who snoozes loses :rotfl:

Morning all! Not really read through properly, just a quick skim, so :T to all those who paid of debts, :grouphug: for anyone that needs it, and  for those with exciting times ahead.

As for me, I've had a good weekend debt-wise, stuck to my budget for the gambling (didn't win any, but I never expect to).

However, I did get a phone call from some girl who I think is the booty-call girl for my ex, only she didn't realise that she was just a back up, so when she found out he had been seeing me for 2 months she freaked and (for some unknown reason) decided to call me to let me know . Not what I needed at 9pm on a Saturday night when I'd been drinking since the football started at 12.30 ! Told her I was over him anyway, so I really didn't care. Feel a bit sorry for her, but I don't see what it has to do with me :o.

Then last night I got text message from him "just saying hi", and I got into a bit of a chat (lets-just-be-friends). He doesn't seem to realise that when I say "just friends" I actually mean it, that I don't want kisses on text messages, I don't want to talk about cuddling on the sofa, and I won't be going on the holiday I had booked with you :mad::mad:. Think he finally got he message.

So my current dilemma is - do I tell him about the phone call? I don't want to cause trouble, but I also want to make sure that he is a bit more careful about leaving his phone around if he dates crazy people who read his messages and take down my phone number.

I'm such an eejit... I was taking out 2 of the conifer stumps but accidently hit my left hand with the axe *cue PAIN!*... Honestly, it's ridiculous how stupid and accident prone I am! It's only bruised luckily as it was a glancing blow but had trouble gripping anything on Saturday. i'm not going to mention almost putting the garden fork through my boot but it hit the rubber and bounced off... Gardening is dangerous work guys so TAKE CARE AND BE CAREFUL!!! :rotfl:

On the plus side, I put up the mini greenhouse my grandma leant me and planted about 40 vegetable plants then planted potatoes in potato planter sack thingies. Oh and I planted some mammoth pumkins that take up 5ft of space each (my parents are going to love them growing!) :rotfl: and some sweetcorn plants.

Soooooo... sorry Kerri but I got no spring cleaning done unless you count the garden and I also got no ebaying done so I'm going to try and do both of these things each evening throughout this week and get them on to sell before the post goes up.

Haven't managed to catch up yet cos I'm at work but will be on later. Hope you're all having a great day! xxx

  • Taking tomorrow as holiday and I'm really glad for it, OH has apparently had a bad morning and I feel so bad for leaving him now going to try and escape from work as early as I can to look after him.

I need a way to get more fibre into him, he's really not a veggies fan, hates the texture of most of them. Answers on a postcard before I force feed him :P I don't have a blender or anything like that.
