That could be a rash offer Superheavy, we pass through quite often on the way up to MIL and FIL's :D

Okay, for everyone else the offer still stands, but for you, the beers are on me the first visit only!

Best ban me then too as we make a few trips that way too! In fact next trip up is for work in 2 weeks time. Get those  out ;)

I feel obliged to point out that I'm going nowhere. I check the thread most times when I log on, and it has been so much help for me in terms of clearing it all.

Just want to see everyone else do the same thing now!

I've said it before, but it still rings true, thanks Jemma and everyone on here who has been supportive over the last year. i doubt if I'd have cleared it so quickly without you guys.

Next time you're all in mid Wales, the  is on me.

Good cos we still want to hear from you :).

    Payday update!

    InsertWittyName #055 | £15,076.21/£16,570.76 (90.98%)

    £1,433.15 paid off this month!

With a bit of luck I will be DF a month today (next payday), although my goal is 21st November (two paydays).

Two milestones achieved... over 90% and under £2k owing :j

    So close :j!
Feeling a bit better as just worked out with all the spends I have had on the barclaycard over the whole challenge have actually paid off

    No.316 £2537.63/£2837.63 = 89.42%

Was feeling depressed that it had taken me sooooooooooooo long to pay off less than 2K

My question is Jemma can I change my totals to reflect my payments or do you want me to stick to the origional amount?

    Hope this makes sense!

    You're nearly there tho :j!!

That has been one hell of a day at work. I've never been so glad to leave...so exhausted... Just come back from an Asda shop ready for tomorrow. I have packed absolutely nothing yet though. I have made a list so I've not been completely useless! We're setting off at noon tomorrow so I've got time in the morning. To be honest I can't think beyond getting to the cottage and just relaxing. I don't want to do anything or think, I just want to switch off.

I'm taking my running kit, balance board and dumbells along with some exercise dvds so I can keep that up. It's a lot easier to exercise when you're not exhausted!!! I'm also taking some books and my crafting stuff so I can start to make my Christmas cards!

I can't believe that when I get back then the number of days until Christmas will be in the 80's!!!! It's just so crazy when it seems such a short while ago that it was 400+ days to go... We've all come a huge way. Some have finished their journey and are starting a new one whilst some have yet to reach debtfreedomness but all are changing their lives for the better.

I was going to update tonight but I'm just too tired so I will do it on Monday 1st so I can work out the total for September. I hope it's going to be a great total as every penny counts now!

I'll hopefully be able to keep up with the thread whilst I'm away on my mobile but if I dont, have a lovely week peeps and I shall see you soon! xxx

I think I am going to declare for September even though we are not quite at the end - I have calculated where we will finish

    #307 £6,947.92 / £18,388.93 37.78%

I've decided that my challenge is now to get at least half way by xmas - it took 9 years to build, so 2 years to clear is not so bad - hopefully bonus time will be kind in February and it wont be that long anyway. I do actually have £5k in an ISA but I am trying to pretend its not there as we will need it to buy a house next year and the debt is on 0% now anyway.

Fingers crossed its a frugal weekend for everyone xx

And have a nice holiday Jemma - I found it frustrating to have no internet on our holiday to Wales, but actually it was probably a good thing x

Right im ranting people! you have been warned!

Im sure you all remember the sweet incident dont you? well my DH told me to have a look at the mothers facebook last night at som recent pictures shes posted. There said child is, smiling at the camera holding 2 of my DD's toy cars! and not the cheap crappy ones I bought in a bulk box for a £10 when DS was little, nope, the very expensive disney car I bought DD as shes mad on the films
Now these are not the kind of people who would go out and buy these cars so they must know the child has half inched them from us but it seems this is ok and my DD can go without
Had a look through her cars this morning and about a dozen of the cheap ones are missing and the most popular of the set of disney ones is also gone
Im *expletive* furious, and that child will not set foot in my house again, nor will the mother (or the father if I have my way, but DH insists its not him  how he can be unaware that his child has suddenly aquired a load of new cars that they havent bought is beyond me, its not like they have a house full of toys that they would be overlooked )
Anyway thats my rant, said mother is deleted on FB as I wanted to write a rather scathing message on the pic about how nice it is their child has some new cars and where did they get them as DD's have grown legs and run away (DH said I wasnt allowed ;))
