    Good afternoon all :)

I agree Save dosh Its hard with family :o I gave mum £400 (she nearly fell over lol) and she gave me £40 back, I felt a bit bad taking it but we're not in the best place financially and I knew I didnt really have a choice. Am using it to finish off the PO CC leaving me just the one CC from the original declaration of debt, the last bit of OD and £450 on DH's CC we took out a few months ago when he bought the car (thats not included in my debt total as I knew it would be gone by christmas anyway and it would have depressed me no end to put up my debt total by the initial £3k )

Get better soon Fallenwiccan :( has the doctor given oyu anything to help?

In other news, DH's ESA has finally been approved so hes now getting £71 a week, not a fortune and no-where near enough to pay his half of the bills but much better than nowt, in the same letter they also kindly informed me that as he was also going to get carers allowance for me they were deducting that amount from his ESA so he'll get £12.55 from now on :rotfl: they really do giveth with one hand and taketh away with the other :rotfl:
Still waiting for the DLA result which could be up to 11 weeks, and the council tax benefit, but hey, hopefully everything will be sorted by christmas *rolls eyes*

Thanks J-M I'm getting physio (on a Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday rotation) via my works private health insurance or it would have been a 3 month wait! They won't give me anything to help and they have no idea what caused it to spasm. I just need to take pain killers if my arm hurts (from referral pain) and do stretching exercises.

Finally managed to get the leather jacket and a dress on ebay tonight, hope they sell but if not hubby says he'll take them to the car boot. I'd hate the thought of having to throw them in the bin.

hmmf, why do people not leave feedback on fleabay anymore? ive got over £250 I want to remove but have £200 worth of sales with no feedback to let me know they've A) had the item and B) are happy with their purchase! :( you just know as soon as I put in a withdrawal request im going to get an INR or SNAD into my messages :(

Just been on the phone to WTC as I was literally just about to fax the renewal through to the free school dinner people when I realised it said our income for this year would be over £20k  With us both on ESA there is no chance on this good green earth we will get that kind of money so gave them a ring and rejigged our income :) hopefully might get a little bit more CTC and are def going to be under the limit to qualify for the free dinners for the children.

On a side note, having applied for free school dinners, for some unknown reason I bought Miss Lily a lunch box from tesco this weekend  I think im losing my mind  :rotfl:
