    Morning all!

Payday for me but have only paid off just slightly more than the minimum on the CC. Don't want to end up paying off loads then having to use it all month (as I have done this past month)

So my debt has actually increased slightly :(

    #012 £3672/£6583 = 55.78%

Hoping after we've been on hol in a few weeks, I can pay off some more

I'm having a nightmare day. DS broke his brand new glasses last night so I had to take time out to fix them this morning. Then on my way to work (very late already), the clutch goes on the car. On the busiest junction ever.

Luckily 3 fit policemen came along and have pushed me into a side street and I am now thanking my lucky stars that I didn't cancel my AA membership in an effort to save cash.

The garage have. I courtesy cars so I'm gonna have to hire one to get to work til it's fixed. Oh, and it's raining :-(

Hope you're all having a better day than me!

Hi there, I'm back from my holiday and what a lovely time we had too! It was a real bucket and spade holiday, so th! children loved it. It was a bit cosy in the hotel room, with some of the kids sleeping on airbeds and some of them sharing the big bed. We had beautiful weather too-bonus! Then when I returned to the city, DH met me with the news that due to restructuring, it looks as if he is going to lose his job ...
He has already convinced himself that there is no way he will get another job as he is over 50. I have had to be quite bossy (not for the first time) and get him to spend time everyday on the laptop, applying for new jobs. I am trying to be supportive, but my pregnancy hormones make me particularly sensitive. At least we have managed to clear th! debts, but thanks to th! holiday, we do not have an Emergency Fund and have a big mortgage too. It's not all bad news- if he is unable to find work when the axe does fall, then we will HAVE to go home to England, back to my friends and family :) sooo it's back to doing overtime for me to try and raise some $$$

Oh no you don't! Chin up chuck.

Well done to all those that have made some payments, we had a little bit of a roll there :T

Affordmylife - all the best at the extra job on Monday.

Ruthy1604 - sorry to hear you've had a bad day, I had to re-read your post as the first time I read it I thought it said " 3ft policeman", I really must wake up more before I start reading :rotfl:

    Have a good weekend y'all.

Looks like i'm staying in today. my old insurance company took out my renewal without my consent so i'm £300 over my overdraft limit and don't know the pin to my credit cards... they're going to refund but will take 3-10working days. thanks Elephant you complete and utter tools!

I'd just got my expenses of £280 through which i was going to use to pay off most of my credit card but now can't....

Ahhhhh well it will stop me spending and help me get those nsds.

What are your plans this weekend? xxx
