Oh and I've sold £220 of stuff on Fleabay and playpal are reviewing the £ I want to withdraw ''for security reasons''. Grrrrrr I was screaming at the screen '' I only want it to pay off my debt by Christmas, not for money laundering'', but I don't think they were listening.Life's little instructions- Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated..Watch a sunrise at least once a year..Strive for excellence not perfection:j£2 SC no.70 £140/£350SPC no.73 SPC9 £248 SPC10 target £250DFBX12 No. 069 £7719 / £7719 DEBT FREE 30/11/122013 mfw No.4 MORTGAGE FREE 5/8/130

This probably isn't a good time to suggest you'll probably get it in time for Christmas, is it?
What do you have to do to have a payment retained for security checks? I've used paypal for years and don't remember anything along those lines.
On a positive note, one of the clients I used to freelance for offered me a project today, which should be another £95 or so (depending on exchange rates - $150) in the bag by the end of the week.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

When they did this to me, it was actually because they were checking out the buyer who sent me the money... took me ages to get it sorted out, but I guess it must have some sort of fraudulent-looking activity on there somewhere. Hope you get it sorted soonBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Yes, I know but I WANT IT NOW!!!:(
This is the first time I've ever had a problem after 1000+ transactions so I'm not sure. Can't wait to take it off my totals. Psycho the money is from several buyers so not sure about that either, but very annoying.
Good news on the freelance project, every pound helpsLife's little instructions- Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated..Watch a sunrise at least once a year..Strive for excellence not perfection:j£2 SC no.70 £140/£350SPC no.73 SPC9 £248 SPC10 target £250DFBX12 No. 069 £7719 / £7719 DEBT FREE 30/11/122013 mfw No.4 MORTGAGE FREE 5/8/130 -

Maybe they get a lot of people knocking on the door. Round here we don't get that many, probably about 2 or 3 a year, but I really hate giving my details at the doorstep but I'm never rude and for us at the moment I'm afraid charity begins at homeI'd much rather put the money towards my debts and then once I've got the money I can start contributing to a charity.

Well...payday rolls around once more, and hopefully it's one of the last times I'll have to associate payday with getting up early to send a significant amount of the paycheque off to a credit card company. DF day seems tantalisingly close now. With a bit of luck, if I pick up another freelance job or two I may even get it done by the start of September!

So it's pay day again. That means £500 off the credit card, which is the only thing I'm counting now. But also another payment off the big joint loan for DHs credit cards :j
I also managed to sell some of my stuff on fleabay last night, the wedgewood didn't go as I put a reserve on it and it only got to £100. This is 57 pieces of pristine Wedgewood people!!! It would cost you nearly £3000 to buy new!! Anyway my big win was the Aspinal briefcase, I got this from their fleabay seconds shop as it was scratched RRP £475 I paid £50, just sold it for .......(drum roll) £102:beer: doubled my money, nice!! With the fees and everything I think I will only net about £100 but that will go on to the CC as soon as I can get to it.

JakesMum - with regard, to the ebay stuff, its hard with family. My mum has wardrobes of clothes, some with the labels still on, and she wants me to carboot them, so she can free up the space. She said i can have the mney made, but im not sure what to do. They want the space and they know im struggling a bit. My parents arn't well off, but they are not struggling, so i might have a middle ground and put the money towards stuff needed for my daughters Uni fund - she starts September. My dad does run me around places, but i do give them bags of food from AF and such places, so i feel ive evened it out.
Canucksfan - Sorry to hear about your hubbys job - hope everything works out for you
Ruthy - what a series of events - its great that you still have your AA membership, so lucky you - hope the rest of the day goes to plan.
CreditCrunched - what a nice way to get woken, well done on the bonus
Im afraid to say my debt has gone up £80, but I do feel on track. I did supposedly get shortlisted for an interview, but when i tried to open the application form, it was a virus, so not even sure what i applied for, as i put in so many applications, lots online, oh well, at least my antivirus picked it up i suppose.0 -
Hi all, hope everyone is ok.
Plodding on, shoulder muscle still locked up tight, this is the 7th week now but I'm back at work as I was going spare.
Had car MOT'd whilst I was off, £70 total which included fixing the handbrake so that was great news as I was expecting more. Insurance is due next month, did a search earlier and got a quote of £513.04 with current provider so I'm hoping I'll be able to haggle the renewal.
Plodding on. Need to reshuffle money around. desperately need to get saving as boy may be out of a job soon :-/ ah well.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
