That is exactly what DH said :rotfl::rotfl:, She does chuck me a couple of quid every so often and picks me stuff up from the shop and then doesnt charge me for it, so id feel a bit mean charging her commision for selling it all :o.

Im not sure who gets the better deal as she buys me shopping at times, but I spend hours listing all her stuff, answering the questions, wrapping it all up and taking it to the post office, sorting the fees, dealing with problems and just give her the 'profit'. I might feel a bit different after the 4th weekend of sorting through her garage/sheds and listing for her (we're currently on the 1st but we only got 1/4 of the way into the garage in 2 days )

Oooh some nice things! If I wasn't determined to get rid of my debts by Xmas I'd be bidding :(

See my diary for tales of acquiring stuff for a life I don't have, plus a lot of it was wedding presents from my 1st marraige and I sort of feel disloyal to hubby number 2 keeping them. :o

    Hi all,

Two bits of bad news, had to go out at the weekend and buy dd1 a single bed as it will be more comfortable for her and hopefully she won't wake in the night, and also had to splash out on a new gate as the old one was falling apart. New one looks nice though, but it's a few weeks wait for the bed and mattress. So £300 odd put onto cc, which is disappointing as now I definitely won't reach 100% by xmas, but was necessary.

The other bad news is, while hubby was fitting the new gate, I noticed a wood support beam for our porch is rotten and will need replacing fairly soon, hopefully it won't cost too much.

Hi there, I'm back from my holiday and what a lovely time we had too! It was a real bucket and spade holiday, so th! children loved it. It was a bit cosy in the hotel room, with some of the kids sleeping on airbeds and some of them sharing the big bed. We had beautiful weather too-bonus! Then when I returned to the city, DH met me with the news that due to restructuring, it looks as if he is going to lose his job ...
He has already convinced himself that there is no way he will get another job as he is over 50. I have had to be quite bossy (not for the first time) and get him to spend time everyday on the laptop, applying for new jobs. I am trying to be supportive, but my pregnancy hormones make me particularly sensitive. At least we have managed to clear th! debts, but thanks to th! holiday, we do not have an Emergency Fund and have a big mortgage too. It's not all bad news- if he is unable to find work when the axe does fall, then we will HAVE to go home to England, back to my friends and family :) sooo it's back to doing overtime for me to try and raise some $$$

:j My bonus has been paid!!! :j

I've just paid over £3,000 off of my Virgin credit card to clear it and still have a little left to put towards my loan (other CC is 0%).

I am going to wait until payday (Friday 24th) to make the loan overpayment so that I can make one big one rather than two smaller ones because of the process involved (I have to talk to an adviser each time so that they make sure they don't amend my usual monthly payments to try and keep my term the same!! Cheeky bu88ers )

So, without counting the upcoming loan payments, I can now state that I am **almost** back to where I started :o and almost back on track for DFBX :A

By the end of this month I should be able to drop the minus signs and show that I am under my original level of debt, rather than over it :rotfl::p
