I have just paid off some bills, i have managed to clear my Argos bill and now just have the rest of my overdraft left. I was given a full refund on my water rates, as i have switched over to a water meter so my new total is #359 £409.70, 46%. Very happy, but know that total may go up if more bills go through0

Great news nctmum. Although big companies will often have good people working for them, as entities they tend to be greedy and ruthless, and getting something back is nothing to be snooty about!
I found out that my Sharesave is close enough to pay off the loan in full, but it'll be Wednesday next week coming in. Not to worry, that loan will be gone very shortly indeed!DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Morning all!
It's a bit quiet round here, are you all too busy watching the olympics?
All quiet here too, still on budget but going on a girlie shopping trip tomorrow with bessie mate to buy her wedding stuff. So, whilst I won't be buying, I'll still have lunch and drinks, no doubt, to pay for. Feeling optimistic though :rotfl:0 -
I watched Chariots of Fire for the first time last night with some drinky poos so I'm feeling slightly delicate in work today.. Ooops! My dad said at the end of it that it's a good film but he's sick of the Olympics. To be fair, he absolutely hates any kind of sport especially football so getting really fed up of it now as me and my mum keep watching the gymnastics, swimming, rowing, clycling etc etc etc. Can't wait for the athletics to start!!!
I've paid off about £1200 off my debt this month and I'm hoping that I can bring in enough cash from reclaiming from health insurance, expenses and selling on ebay to offset the car insurance. Fingers crossed! I've so far had 1 NSD out of 3 days so not too bad although I need to work on it to get 15 this month. Weekends are the worst for me so I need to get disciplined!
I've been roped into helping paint at my sisters house on saturday but then me and my mum are going to do a 10mile hill walk to get into training for the 18mile round the hills walk in September. On Sunday my parents are going over to my older sisters so I've got a free day. No plans as yet but I'm hoping to tidy my room and ebay loads of things. I might kidnap my grandma and go to the sea life centre for a change!
Oh and my younger sister sent me a text yesterday with the photo of her 12 week scan. It's got a head and wee little fingers and toes!!! She'll find out if it's a boy or a girl on Sep 26th.

:j to baby having head, fingers and toes
If you are painting your sisters house on Saturday then it should be an easy NSD For you. God luck on the hill walk. I cycled to work and back the other day (5 mile round trip) and was knackeredI got home and my legs were shaking. It is all uphill on the way home but I am so unfit. I'm going to cycle in again today to try to increase my fitness a bit.
Yay to sea life centre although maybe not kidnaping or gran!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Awww love baby scans
seems everyone around me is pregnant... need to learn how to make nappy cakes or something to keep present costs down!
I'm slightly hungover today, thank god I didn't get called into work. Drank way too much at Hyde Park yesterday but had a fab day (spent far too much money though!!). Also agreed to see the Paralympic Athletics on 5th September so that should be funI was going to go the gym this morning but not feeling it, might go for a swim later but waiting for a friend to text me about meeting her later on.

Had a quick adding up of the two debts and there's £55 not accounted for, I must have made a payment and not declared it, so I will now

Oh, and DH has put his foot down and said we are all to have £100 from his tax rebate. I would rather pay it off the cc which only has £800 left on it but hey ho! Trouble is I'm so dedicated to being DFBX12 that I can't get used to the idea of spending £100 on myself.:o He has forbidden me from paying it off the debtLife's little instructions- Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated..Watch a sunrise at least once a year..Strive for excellence not perfection:j£2 SC no.70 £140/£350SPC no.73 SPC9 £248 SPC10 target £250DFBX12 No. 069 £7719 / £7719 DEBT FREE 30/11/122013 mfw No.4 MORTGAGE FREE 5/8/130
