Jemma - well done, there is a book people rave about, but have never read it myself by susan jeffers i think from memory, called 'Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway', not sure if its something that might help with your journey.

I had that on audio book, it was very good although a little bubbly Amercian style.

    Hi all

It's been a while since I updated and my debt has gone up:o. I'm #97 and my target was £5608 but my debt increased overall to £7438. So I've paid off a bit more and my totals are now sitting at #97- £4463/£7438 (60%). I'm still aiming to be debt free by the end of the year:D

Ah well, looks like I've got another week to wait to pay off that darn loan....those of us who have cashed in our sharesave schemes rather than taking the shares get the money on the 7th. Hmph.

I haven't heard anything about mine, but the last letter I got said that they have some policy where they pay the funds within 5 days of maturing? I'm happy to get them in a week, I just don't actually know when they will turn up!

Jemma - really impressed with how you handled the situation with your boss :j:j. Now he knows the situation, hopefully you will not be faced with this kind of issue again. As I've said before, I used to get panic attacks, and so did my DH. Mine stopped after a few years and were more to do with a feeling that I couldn't cope when I first had children. As they got older and they survived (!), my confidence grew and the panic attacks went.

My DH had them in crowded situations, like shopping centres, public transport etc. He now has them under control and he did this the way you are going to - by facing the situations when he felt he could. For example at first he travelled (to work) on trains which weren't crowded (and got off if too many people got on ) but he gradually got used to it and now he's fine even when the train is rammed with people.

    Best of luck :).

PS I bet Jake's Mum has a shovel she can lend you to get rid of the horrible person in your brain. She's certainly lent out heavy pans to people before now ;) !
