Hello debtbusters!! I am back from my :money: week in the sun and have to report my total is now:

    #084 £10581/£58000

Not as good as I'd hoped but holiday month has hurt despite being cheap as chips accomodation we still had to eat out and treat the kids a bit.

    Roll on DH's payday!!

I'm off to read a few pages of this thread but I know how you can all talk so might give up and watch the olympics instead :rotfl:

:j:j:j:j:j Ahem, can I make a little announcement to my Posse...I am debt free! It feels Fan-Bloomin-Tastic I can tell you. All of the hopes and dreams we daydream about on this journey about what we will do once we are DF...well now we can pursue em - they are a reality!
As the debt belonged to both my DH and I, he is also sharing in the happiness! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Yeah!! Well done Canucksfan, I am so pleased for you :T:T:T:T:T:T

  • Gosh it's quiet on here! I've been working A LOT this week, back in today and looking forward to my days off. Collected my new car yesterday, very excited... I love it! My payslip still isn't great, so no great chunks off the debt until shares sell in a weeks time. I missed the opening ceremony as I was working but hoping to find it on the internet and watch some of it. I'm going to Hyde Park on thursday to watch some of the Olympics and Alexandra Burke is performing so as long as it's not raining it should be a lovely day!

Hi all! I'm afraid I haven't stopped by in a while, I haven't wanted to admit it, but the car insurance is up for renewal, and it's going to set me back an unprecedented amount (approx 2 months worth of debt clearing). Payment comes out at start of next month and then I'm going to assess the damage before I start posting again. I doubt I'll be debt free by christmas but I'll be able to work out a date when I have all the end of month numbers in front of me.

Hey, don't worry. Some of us won't be debt free by Xmas 2013 or 2014, let alone this year! Just keep on posting and we'll get there in the end.

I'll not be debt free this Xmas. It's a bit optimistic to be honest that we will be DF by Xmas 2013 but I'm hoping :) I'm feeling a bit down about our progress in the last two months too but hoping things will pick up this month. Keep posting to keep us company!

    Debt-free and Proud!
There's a Kerri who's just come back from the states and posted on the 2012 Clothing Challenging thread. Not sure whether that's ours though, but it would be a coincidence wouldn't it?
