  • Great news about your loan cashback Bonglecat!

Hope you managed to have a good day Jemma. I used to get panic attacks but I'm in a better place now (mentally) and no longer get them, even in scary situations. So I'm hoping that even though you found this scary, hopefully it won't have brought the panic attacks on :). Was a lovely day for seeing Snowdonia anyway :).

I've just made another CC payment which means that I've paid off all of the non-wedding related CC debt  Balance isn't clear yet but I kept a record of my transactions so I knew exactly how much was wedding and how much was pre-existing debt and non-wedding spends. (I just estimated where the interest was allocated to).

Still have my loan and all wedding debt but with that clear and having finished student loan last month I'm feeling really positive again :T

  • Hi everyone, payday today and have tried about ten times to pay off what I owe on Very today but the website isn't working - grr!! Last horrendous catalogue month and I'll manage the £500 but not sure will manage the payment just before next payday :-( Don't want to give them any interest, not now that I've wisened up! All other little payments to a lots of cards done! Will update sig when I've paid them some more ££! Enjoy a sunny afternoon all!! :-)
  • Can i please join. I don't owe much, but unfortunately am not working and not getting much interviews either, so its taking ages. I've tried the survey thing, but seem to spend all my time filling things in, just to be told im not suitable. I have put a load of stuff on ebay, hopefully i will do this as i don't have any more birthdays, etc coming up. My total owed is £523.29, but that will go up drastically as its end of month and all my direct debits for bills etc go through. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

    Welcome Dave

Course you can join us, we love people paying their debt off :D Jemma will be along at some point to give you your very own, one of a kind, not to be traded, lost or flogged on ebay, number but I think shes up Snowdonia at the moment so it might not be today :D

Let us know all about you, any ideas you have for saving pennies and paying off those dratted bankers (best ideas are home made knickers & ebaying used bras . . . worst idea . . . making your own bras out of coat hangers . . umm that would be mine :o logistics were not on my side :o)

Anyway enjoy all the chat, we do tend to waffle on, and make sure you post every payment as it makes us all feel motivated every time a £1 is paid back :j

    Hiya SD!
Welcome! I see from your signature that u live in London...is it crazy busy there at the moment? Everyone here in Canada has been raving about the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics-that Danny Boyle is a genius! I am v home
Sick for the UK at the moment I can tell you!
Good Luck with your DF journey...you have joined a super-friendly forum. We are a v mixed bunch in terms of how much we can save, due to our Employment status, family lives...or even longstanding illness which must be the toughest obstacle of all. Good luck Mate!

Wow! How amazing was that? Thought it started a bit slow at the beginning but the middle bit with the dancers was fantastic! Wish I could have been there, but couldn't justify the price of the tickets :(

Minimum payment to littlewoods AND hubby's capitol one paid off (finally!)! So have a new total to report:

    #304 £1,391.97/£5,210.12 (26.72%)

Which means that I'm back where I was at the end of April, never mind I knew it wasn't going to be an easy ride! Still got a lot more payments to make this month so all hope is not lost.
