Another £40 to add for me as DH decided to pay a bit more off his c/c when he went to the bank. Maybe he is having his lightbulb moment??????

    New total £3674.50/£8748.50

Hang on my figures don't seem right. I will have to recheck them and get back to you all. Sorry  :o

ETA no they weren't right. I was thinking as I wrote it as we now owe less than £5k but those figures above doesn't show that. Anyway I've rechecked and the correct figures are as follows £3771.50/£8748.50 which is 43.1% :j
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

    Hi Folks,

Well I have some Happy Clappy news

    :T  :T  :T  :T

today I got a job and start tomorrow (Tuesday), :j

The 'not so good' news is that today I also got our credit card bill, and as seems to be the case with other posters this month, it came through at more than I anticipated, so all available cash has gone to keeping that clear rather than paying extra off debts. But I can cope with that 'cos, did I mention? I got a job!!:D

I've let things slide a bit this month as it feels like at the moment I'm two steps forward and one step back, swimming up stream and wading through treacle, and any other cliche you can think of, here's hoping to August being a much more productive month.

Oh and did I mention?.............yes yes of course I did :o

Jemma has visited the site since her post about going up Snowdon, so we at least know that she came back down safe and sound :) Things are a little quiet on here lately but I guess we're all just muddling along enjoying the weather and the olympics. I'm sure it will pick up again, especially when it starts getting nearer Christmas and the panic sets in :rotfl:

I'll still be here in the New Year, at the moment March 2013 is my target <<rolls eyes and bashes head on table>>
  • Kerfuffle - fab news on your job :j:beer:!

And well done to all those who are still making debt payments. I will have to wait til next pay day to make any more but I find if I visit this thread regularly, it keeps me on track i.e. stops me from spending :o. I know that I'm not fully 'cured' from my spending 'addiction' but I'm at least 'recovering' :D.

I wish it was tomorrow, most of my payments will go out and I could update my figures.

Well done on the new job Kerfuffle. It's great to hear folks getting jobs instead of losing them.

  • Kerfuffle Well done on the job - hope it goes alright.

Would it be possible to have a number for my paying the debts off, mind i won't be updating for about 2 weeks, as my totals go up and down a lot. My starting total is as per my signature.
