    Hello all!

    I'm back after an incredibly long absence :o Been busy getting married, and getting carried away with spending on the wedding, and particularly the honeymoon :o:o:o

    I've done a tally up of my balances, and have to confess that, including the new credit card I took on to cover the costs (0% for 12 more months) my total debt is now higher than I started with.

    I'm praying for some good news for my pay/bonus review that is due this week/early next week. I've been hearing from reliable sources for a few months that we had a really good year and there is plenty in the kitty this year but had a quick chat with my manager this morning as it's my first day back after honeymoon and she started telling me that they had to keep their figures down and it won't be as good as last year.....I understand that these things are discretionary and not dependable but I know she's lying about it, which is upsetting, especially as all I've heard all year is what a fantastic job I've been doing and how I deserve better recognition for it.... :( ah well, we will see in due course.

    Anyway, confession time:

    #077 -£3,963.50/£16,660.26 -23.79% :eek::eek:

    Is that right and all that I'm meant to put down....I can't remember!! :rotfl:

    The good news is that my student loan is officially paid off as of the end of June :beer:

    The bad news is that I've got a few big ticket expenses coming up that probably can't be avoided. I can't imagine that we will be able to manage DFBX now but I'm going to keep trying. What more can we do!!?!

    Wish me luck ladies and gents :T

    It's good to be back.

    Helen xx

    Well done Jake :j:j My DS also had a glowing report with all level 3s at the end of yr2 :T:T:T:T Very proud of him because he's had some trouble this year with his allergies and health and I've been all over the shop with different jobs and money troubles. I can't really say this in real life as I don't want to be accused of boasting by other people with kids and my family don't understand NC levels so you've had to put up with it on here :rotfl:

    So the last DD until payday went out today to give a new total:

    #084 £10466/ £58000

    Wishful thinking :), now is that new old MSE friends, old new MSE friends, or an old and even older MSE friends?

    :rotfl:Maybe, she has said about catching up on 36 hours sleep, I just assumed she was talking about the return journey.

    To all those that only have one payment a month to make and it's not keeping them busy - I have a payment going out on the 3rd of each month, and I only have 5 more payments to make. If 5 of you would like to form an orderly queue you can each take a payment for me if you like, I'd be ever so grateful :rotfl:

    Lol - I would if I could but I can't even afford my own payments at the moment :rotfl:. Great that you've only got 5 more payments left tho!

    oh wd spagbol DS :T:T those are great results, especially as hes been through a rough time. I wish my DS report had been a bit more glowing, seriously the way they paint him hes the son of the incredible hulk with all these uncontrolable rages he seems to have at school (that I have never seen at home coincidently)! roll on 1 1/2 weeks time when he leaves :j
