I am also very boring at the moment. I am not going to be able to make a payment until 25th July but I'm hanging in there!

I can't do that. We get a lot of post for the church as DH is treasurer.

Any personal mail however, I leave lying around where the baby can reach. If he accidentally rips the envelope in his excitement to eat it then it's not my fault if I accidentally read it while putting it back in the envelope :p

I think my DH believes he never gets any post as he hasnt opened a letter in 10 years . I open them, read them, pay them (if its a bill) and file them :rotfl:. He says he has a magic credit card, he can spend on it but never has a statement or has to pay it :D

I don't know how you do it! I never win anything :(, apart from an egg & spoon race in lower school and the goonies on VHS :o

Waaaaaaaaaaay to much time on my hands, I do spend approx 3 hrs a day entering comps :o. It will go up when DD starts school as all I have to do all day is empty the dishwasher, and push hoover round downstairs. Tis a glamourous life I lead :o

Oh His missus, can I come stay with you!! I would love a few days of not picking up DH's pants (which actually I did this morning :rotfl:) I long since gave up trying to get him to understand what a washing basket was for and threw ours in the bin. DS is just as bad, I bought him a new bed last year as I got so fed up of trying to get under his old one to withdraw the dirty clothes he 'stored' there  Ha young man! trying forcing dirty trousers under a bed with a 1 inch gap :D

DH insisted we bought a washing basket with a lid to keep the pong of his smelly socks in but he either piles washing on top of lid or next to basket because he's too lazy to take the lid off! :p

J-m, you can come to stay but you'll have to bring your own food, I'm not sharing my home-made lasagne with anyone!:D

spag bol - it will be heaven :) I feel bad that people at work are already asking if/telling me I miss him when I don't. I keep replying he's not gone long enough for me to miss him, maybe if he was gone a month I'd miss him...eventually:rotfl:

My hubby told me last year to move the laundry basket upstairs after I complained about his clothes being dumped on the floor. Has he put any clothes in? Has he heck! I still have to pick his clothes off the floor - it's so disgusting! I don't understand how his socks get so whiffy! I can smell them from a mile off

Have been thinking this morning that we might treat ourselves to a holiday next year:D Have just been looking on the flight checker to get an idea of costs and reckon we should budget £2k for flights and spending money for the four of us for two weeks. Even though it's a lot of money, if we were to stay at home for two weeks and go out everyday, if we only spent £100 a day it's still £1400

  • His missus - enjoy your peace while you can :).

What is it with men and dirty washing - sometimes my DH throws his somewhere in the vague direction of the wash basket and sometimes just leaves it on the floor. And then a magic fairy comes along and moves it and it appears washed and ironed back in his wardrobe ;).

Trouble is they know that if they leave it we'll get so annoyed by it that we'll be forced to move it. I get my own back by never ever washing the car - cos I know that my DH can't stand the car dirty (whereas I don't care) and he'll be forced to wash it :rotfl:.

Though the whiff of my DH's socks are horrific and require removal with a pair of tongs and some vicks under my nose, even worse is the underpants at the bottom of the bed  That is wrong on so many levels

ooooo im glad im not the only one who does this :rotfl:, DH is a right fuss bum when it comes to the cars, so I know if I 'accidently' leave enough coats on the back seat, empty wrappers and till reciepts in the door it will suddenly be driven round the back for a hoover and a polish :T

She hasn't updated her diary since she was due to leave Canada. Mebbe she heard the weather forecast of weeks of 30 degree sunshine for the next few weeks over here and decided to extend her stay indefinitely, with a plan to look up old MSE friends *she says hopefully*

Wishful thinking :), now is that new old MSE friends, old new MSE friends, or an old and even older MSE friends?

:rotfl:Maybe, she has said about catching up on 36 hours sleep, I just assumed she was talking about the return journey.

To all those that only have one payment a month to make and it's not keeping them busy - I have a payment going out on the 3rd of each month, and I only have 5 more payments to make. If 5 of you would like to form an orderly queue you can each take a payment for me if you like, I'd be ever so grateful :rotfl:

My balance has actually gone up due to buying new kitchen and shifting credit cards about as they were running out of their 0% interest free periods.
Good thing now I have a new kitchen, means now a lodger installed to help with bills so payments should start going in the right direction now.

Still have Nationwide card to tart about before Aug but hopefully clear 1,000 off it and tf rest to virgin 0% and only bal tf fee of 2% till next July.

Signature up to date to rectify my balances and will stay on the naughty step for spending ;-)
