    Morning all!

Just realised tomorrow is payday :j so tonight I'm going to take a long hard look at my finances (again!) and this month I'm
    a) going to stick to my budget
    b) going to set a specific amount for shopping and fun each week and stick to it
    c) not go over budget buying DH's birthday pressies
    d) pay a generous amount off the CC and,
    e) replenish the rainy day/holiday fund or at least contribute to it.

I think I'm setting myself up for a fall but hey ho! :rotfl:

I'm sure you'll be fine, positive thinking now!

I have no news. I listed four things on fleabay, two with bids on already, which is great but I'm pondering if I didn't put them on at the right price. However, they would just get thrown away, so any money is better than none I suppose.

The ongoing saga with the watch I need to sell is coming to a head. It is currently sitting on my desk with my camera waiting to have a few photo's taken and then I will list it and it will be gone. Out with the old and in with the new.

I have also contemplated starting a diary, but I'm just not sure if I want to. I love coming on this thread and reading about others journeys, rather than talking about mine all the time. Other than that, nothing to report. Oh, I have moved banks. This is for a couple of reasons. My current bank is where I have a debt and in Martin's eyes, this is a no no! Also I went to said bank that was offering £125 if I switch, so too good an offer to miss. So far so good!

Super chuffed to Katiec950 and canicksfan. Both different but fantastic pieces of news.

    Hi Guys
Happy Bday Trying Hard! I know it was yesterday - hope you had a lovely day!
    Welcome welcome to Luna!
That was good news about the interest J-M. Some of my old bank statements make me shudder!
Well it is just after 5am here and the dog has just woken me up barking at a stray coyote going past and I am starving already. I went for my initial booking in visit with the doctor yesterday and he started to tell me off re: my weight. I reminded him that my body worked fine for my work and that I hadn't taken many sick days nor had I had to visit a doc since having the last baby 3 yrs ago. I said I would love to go the gym if only I could find someone to take care of my children/work my night shift for me. Well he didn't say a whole lot to that.. Just booked me infor a load of fasting bloods this am...so now I am thirsty and hungry and cursing the dog! Have a good MSE day guys!
