Where do you do your yoga Mrs Addicted to Spending? in London I can't seem to find anywhere cheaper than £10 per session or £40 per month gym membership fee at a rubbish gym where the classes are always oversubscribed & not every day.
Maybe that's just how much yoga costs and I should see it as a necessity for my health and sanity rather than a luxury!!
I'm a member of Pure Gym which is £17.99 a month, it's one of those no frills gyms but they do loads of classes for free and 6 months ago starting doing Yoga for a £2 per class supplement. Check their website there might be one near you.My Debt Free Diary LBM March 2010

Just a quick update! I've been selling some stuff from my loft which has been there since I've moved. If I've not used it in nearly 4 years and it's not sentimental, why am I storing it?:rotfl::rotfl:
I've been doing superpoints daily and that's been helping too as the little extra paypal payments soon add up.Did my tax credits renewal too and got £1500 payment. Paid off a large chunk of my card but to be honest, being a bit cautious with that as they then said they made a mistake a few years ago and I ended up with a £3k overpayment to pay back. Anyway, onwards and upwards! A NSD here but did have to start buying school uniform yesterday. £63 for a few items with the logo on.....the rest will be supermarket stuff I'm thinking in August!

How about just researching a really good DVD?
Hi sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't have time to come on here yesterday. My yoga teacher is part of the Independent Yoga Network so if you want to find a good class you could google that - they list all the classes in different areas. Some of the gym classes (I've tried a few) are not as good, more like a slower form of aerobics rather than by a properly trained yoga teacher.
It costs me £6 for 2 hours (once a week), and I don't live in London so it might be a bit more expensive there. I first tried a DVD though, just a free one from a paper :rotfl:which got me started and I've been going to this class for nearly 5 years now.
For me it's not a luxury as I need it in my life - it helps me prioritise what's important and has helped me change my life for the better so it's worth the money and I'd now rather cut back in other areas (but that's just me).

Managed to palm the kids off on gran and grandad today
so DH and I have spent a happy 3 hrs wandering round toys r us with my gift cards, have bought the kids a trampoline for christmas mas for £100 (down from £150, even with free gift cards cant be paying full price ) which my mum is going halfs with us on as well :j :j and got them both a nerf gun for £7 each instead of £18
and 4 jewellery making kits (that came in one package) which were £12.50 instead of £25 and ive split them, put 2 away for Miss Lily, 1 for my niece to go in her 'making stuff' hamper and kept the spare one as a party invite present
Still got £124 on the cards for their next sale (hoping for some lego reductions
)
Then went to Asda for my 2 monthly 'chicken' shop :rotfl: bought 6 and managed to spend another £26 on stuff. My freezer is so jam packed now with meat I physically cannot get anything else in there, and ive got 8 packs of burgers coming on friday
Had a nice chat with DH in the car and we were discussing my penny pinching ways, how much ive saved on shopping/presents etc and DH said 'but we havent lost any quality of life have we, in fact we have more in the cupboards and nice bits to eat than we had 10 years ago'so on the whole a really nice day today
. . well apart from trying to get the 37kg trampoline in the loft, that took a bit of swearing

Really, really fed up. There's always something that seems to scupper our debt reduction. We had to have a new bathroom as our loo hadn't flushed properly for about a year and the bath broke. The inlaws said they'd pay, but we ended up about £500 short, so it had to go on the card. Then stuff keeps breaking. Then ALL the kids needed new school shoes and trainers, which was another £170 (skinny feet need Clarks or startrite) Then one of our bigger credit cards (we have eight!) ups it's rate to 30% and as we bank with this company and have a honking £3.5K overdraft, we didn't think we were able to reject the rate and close the card. So out DFD has gone back two months. I just feel like we aren't achieiving anything and our debt is only going down because of the loan payments. Really REALLY fed up.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

Big hugs to you ROsometimes these lenders are just plain A**holes
BUT you have paid a massive chunk off what you owe already and brought your DFD forward by 8 - 10 months (working off your sig) which is a massive achievement :T. Remember, we dont focus on the finish line we focus on each step we take in the race
and once you clear your first CC and start to snowball suddenly that debt will look like its really moving :T.
