Got a lovely letter today, my OH got a £350 tax rebate.

Shame he is using it to buy things when we have debt to pay but hey ho, I think in his eyes it's "my" debt.

My mum gave us £100 today because we were a bit short on bills so yey no more bank charges but on the downside it's my next t-mobile bill so I now owe them £52 instead of £21 and I still owe council tax £38 before next week AND we need to do food shopping, and I have Virgin coming out on monday apparently at £50

Well feeling really re-energised today and ready to fight some battles.

Had a wee tax rebate, so thats an extra £140 on my cap one card, hopefully 3 more payments and it's gone!

Also managed to get my dad an emergency doctor's appointment. He has MS and has developed sudden pain and loss of function in his right arm. Been with him all day which stopped me going out and spending money on a pub lunch.

Also decided not to rejoin the gym and dust off my old cross trainer instead and I am making healthy meals from the freezer to help me save ££££££ and lose lb lb lb

    so new total.... #348 1150/8121

SB is swagbucks, its an american site that you can do searches, watch videos, take surveys etc and you get 'bucks'. Every time you get to 849 bucks you can exchange them for a £5 amazon voucher :)

Well done Cat on your first voucher :j :j I always like money you dont actually earn :D

EDIT: awww just read on facebook, Martin and Mrs Lewis are having a baby :D wonder if they will call it MSE? :D

Nicole I use swag bucks too. It usually takes me 9 or 10 days to get enough points for a £5 amazon voucher, I guess it depends how dedicated you are, how much time you have to spend on it and whether you get accepted for surveys (I usually do) I usually make about 80-90 points a day and spend about 30mins on it. It takes a few days to receive the voucher code but you can use as many as you want and any "change" is stored in your amazon account. I use mine to buy pressies for people :)

I am having a really bad day with my depression today, when I feel like this it is just the worst spiral, I isolate and then feel worse. I have been having some fairly bad thoughts but am trying to remind myself it is chemical and will pass. This is about as well as I can do in terms of reaching out to people so I hope y'all don't mind.

People who haven't experienced it really have no idea what it's like. Being alone in the house the whole time doesn't help either I guess.

Sorry this is a bit off topic but I had to say something :(

    BNS
Hope you are feeling ok BNS and I'll send you some cyber hugs.

It took me about 5 months lol, I don't have the time / patience / good acceptance rate for surveys, I just search, do noso and poll daily and sometimes watch the videos
