Well done jakes-mum. You must be so pleased at paying off your loan AND over half way. Double celebration. :j :j

I've suddenly realised ive got £180 spare to pay off the CC's but what if it all goes to my head and I run round the shops flashing my bank card :rotfl:

Well done jakes-mum. I have one loan payment left on one of my debts and I am so excited for it to be paid off! The money will be used to pay off the other debts which means they will come down quicker soon! Exciting!

Hmmm...I can't imagine you running round the shops being frivolous:D

BNS - I think probably more people are/have been where you are today at some point in their lives, I guess it's just one of those taboo topics, though it really shouldn't be. If you can't face the world, I'm pleased you're reaching out to us :)

On our way back from town we have been discussing our finances and Hubby agrees that, come July payday when I have no more loan to pay, I should pay £500 off the CC each month. It's do-able though we may have to be a little more MSE especially regards shopping and meal planning. It's my only hope of being DF by Xmas...

Nor can DH :rotfl: when asked what i'd do when we were debt free I replied . . . 'save' :rotfl::rotfl:

I wish there was a loan free roll of honour just so I could be on it :D

Been into the bank and cancelled the DD to Mr T, the nice man at the bank celebrated with me, especially when I told him its the first time in 10 years ive been loan free :rotfl:. Also booked an appointment to take DS down to open his first real bank account (he had a little savings account in my name before, but he gets a cash point card now he's 11!) and ive decided to set up a SO for his pocket money each month so he has complete control over his money. Teaching him early about budgeting ;), he will NOT be like his dad with cash!
