This must be a common thing the half way mark. A little bit of "sin"

Glad you had a good time though

Oh my word, I'VE CAUGHT UP!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, I hope you're all well and going to enjoy the Jubilee weekend no matter what the weather's like :A

    I think this is a recordbreaking 1546 words....:rotfl:

Kerri_dfw – your OH is so sensible about the sewing machine but so right. I bought a treadmill last year (really good one cos it was reconditioned) and loads of other fitness things and as soon as I had everything I lost interest! I’m now looking at the treadmill and thinking about putting it on ebay to get some money for it... Maybe you should put the 32 yards of fabric on your sister! Hey Kerri, if they’ve upped your credit limit, can’t you just ring them and reduce it back down?

Antonia1 – how on earth does your company manage to accidentally pay everyone a week early...? hahaha I wish I could get money back from my sister(s). I’m helping my eldest move house today into a very swanky place, south facing which backs directly onto a canal. It’s very swish. She owes me over £500!!! Very annoying... Anyway, you’ve only £250 to go before you only owe £2000!!!!!

Mrso2b – wow, that is a fantastic overpayment to your Barclaycard!!!

Forgottendreams – I think everyone feels like they’re lagging behind at some stage but it’s not a race. It’s difficult when there are unexpected purchases like car problems that crop up or people go on their family holiday therefore not able to pay as much as usual that month. The key is what you are doing, you keep going! We have another 7 paydays (ish – everyone is different) and that is plenty of time to bust this debt!

Avogirly – I completely agree with you. It gets tough when you have a DFD in mind and want to hit it but the key is to remember that this thread is about people staying focussed on their debt and changing their habits to pay it off. I know it’s called the Pay off all your debt by Xmas 12” but that doesn’t mean that everyone will or can pay it off by then. If someone manages to sell things on ebay that they wouldn’t normally have done then this thread is worth it. If someone manages to pay off their loan early saving them interest then this thread is worth it. If someone doesn’t pay off any debt but doesn’t add to it then this thread is worth it. I think what you’re doing is completely sensible and will help you stay debt free in the future x

Ruthy1604 – I am soooooo jealous hun, enjoy Spain!!! I bet you can’t wait for that OD to be paid off! I’m glad your cash budget is working, I’ve tried for 3 months now and still haven’t managed it.... Oh well, I’ll keep trying!

Malmol09 – Great to hear from you and your staying hacking away at your debts!

FREEZ – congratulations on reaching 50%!!!!

Starnac – hey you’re doing fab and you’ll be at a 3rd paid off in no time!

His missus – how are you doing hun? I bet the dress looks gorgeous! You just smashed 50%, WAHOO!!!

Choclover – any sign of baby choclover yet???

Barbeduk – I know you now have to save for a crown but at least you’re not just putting it on your CC, that’s definitely a step in the right direction! Well done! I bet it was lovely to see that big fat ZERO on Mr Branston’s statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katiec950 – Almost 90%, you’ll be on our Debt Free Roll of Honour in no time!!!! Of course you can stay hun, I don’t want anyone to leave!

Catmort – good idea about getting back in to the NSDs. Glad you’ve had a super time in Africa, I bet it was lovely seeing your mum. Yay for your 1st Amazon voucher on SB!!!

Natlie – how many days until your wedding now hun? And congrats on your successful ESA appeal! You’ve smashed the 40%!!!

Sandraroffey – the next 14 weeks will go by in the blink of an eye when you can say goodbye to provident for good!

SeduLOUs – wow you’re at 71.37% paid off, congrats on blasting 4 of your 6 debtors!!!

Spagbol – I love your milestones too, can’t wait for you to get to £10k paid off!!! A little victory dance by everyone will be in order!

Ashleighsalem – how’s your FIL doing? Is he any better? Definitely a sensible idea to stash the repayment money to pay for any travelling.

Mrs Addicted to Spending – don’t worry about being MIA, I’ve been spending loads of time in my garden too! I really hope you can go over the 50% mark next month, that will be a fantastic achievement. When will you find out what you can start to pay off now your OH is earning less? You’ll still be debt free by Xmas though hun as you’ve paid off loads already!

Minicooper272 – oh no, you have had a lot of expenses to deal with! If it was me I’d stick with Zumba as it’s far less money and best intentions tend to go out of the window with me after the novelty has worn off... yay for reducing your student loan, that’s been a big step for you and definitely one to feel proud of! Another milestone and long may it continue!

Kerfuffle – oh my, well done on doing the fiscal fast challenge, I had a look and ran away to hide in a corner, there is no way I could it! Hmmmmmm just realised I did get 7 NSDs in a row a few months back so maybe I could do it *off to have another look...*

Kissykissykaren41 – I’d cut down your debt payments a bit so you’re not tempted to splurge everything! But only by a bit though so you can still whoop this debt booty! Wow, well done on your 8.5lbs lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Psychopathbabble – wahoo on the £60 from the car boot, how long is Mr S away for?

Suzitiger – well done on your £50 payment to rent arrears, fab work!

Bonglecat – wow, well done on reducing your limit and signing up for the 5k, they are fab!

SeriousDFW – glad to hear from you and I wholeheartedly agree with your decision to go to New York especially if you’ll still be debt free by Xmas, no brainer really! Well done on your PPI wins!!!!

NicoleWild – Hey Nicole and welcome to the crazy gang!!! I never thought I’d say well done to someone on this thread for getting a bulk supply of locusts cheap!!! Hurray for the tax rebate!

Sam09 – Glad to hear you’ve still been clearing those debts, you’re almost at 40%!!!!!

Camuk81 – That will be a lovely feeling once the house sale goes through and the extra £43.31 in your pocket is good news! That is an amazing amount that you have saved in interest!!!!! I’d definitely be celebrating too after getting BT on your side, well done girl!

Pheonixrising21 – Good to have you on the team and well done on moving your finances around for the best deal. It doesn’t matter if you can be debt free by Xmas 12, the main thing is that you are focussed on busting your debt!

Jo84 – Yay for the extra family members that you’ve just met, how did you find out about them?

Lemonpopsicle – Awww that’s lovely of your aunt and uncle!

Karrie2129 – hey Karrie, that is a great total and you’re close to 15% paid off already!!! Good decision about not joining the gym, your cross trainer will be just as good and you can also go for walks to get those lbs off. I hope your dad is ok x

1stTimer – Well done for getting your Saturday job, you’re soooo close to 20% paid off already so you’ll clear this debt super quick now!

Muppets – You’re making superb headway with this debt!

Cj75 – you’re off work sick? Are you ok hun???

Trying hard – wow you sound like you have a tough but rewarding job. I’m definitely looking forward to the Jubilee weekend!!!

Angelbob – hope you have a fab holiday!!!

Superheavy – fab news on your car insurance, sounds like a very productive half hour! You are sooooooo close to 40%, come on, kick that last little bit!

Fallenwiccan – hey, love your car saving fund, well done!

Loubie_lou – being under £10k owed is such a fantastic milestone, it’s a great feeling to know you’re now in 4 digits owing!

PedroMatias – welcome back, I’ll update your total for weightloss!

BrandNewStart – how are you feeling today? I know that it’s hard to see any way out when you are that low. We are all here for you x Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think your way of thinking is perfect, imagine how you want your life to be then make it happen... wise wise words my friend.

Jakes-mum – CONGRATULATIONS on your last loan payment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you enjoyed your treat meal out, you deserve it x

VW Campervan mum – I am gutted cos I wrote you a lovely message in response to a post but it seems to have deleted itself and I can’t remember which post in the last 11 pages it was! Anyway, I love that you’ve hit the 50% mark, well deserved! Oh and don’t worry about falling off the wagon for a bit, I think we have all done it. The important thing is that you’re dusting yourself off and hitting your debt busting again with gusto. Come on girl, we can do it!!!!

    Ruthy 1604 & Jemma,

Thanks for the advice, if I'm brutally honest about it though, I don't know anyone at my Zumba class, when I say it's my only night out, I mean out of the house & not spent on Netflix!

You guys are fantastic for catching up on everyone! I'm visiting family so haven't had the time, but you're like the news headlines! It keeps me just enough up to date!

Today (Saturday) was day 6 of the fiscal fast challenge for me so I'm nearly there, but I'm going to try and put off shopping until Tuesday so extending it to 8 days. I really want to be able to pay extra towards my debts this month. :o

BrandNewStart is feeling better today! I was going to go out cycling with my local club today but it is chucking it down and my legs are sore from lunges yesterday - so I am staying in so nerrr.

Awesome post mf0u, I think you are a genuine unsung hero you know. Sod the Jubilee, we should celebrate top people like you who go out of their way to be kind to others and help them. Chapeau, as they say in cycling!

It's amazing how many you can get when you let your 6 year old 'play' on this 'special website that mummy has that gives out sweets"

    It's like my own sweatshop

I've just registered, done the daily poll & played a game & now have 51 points. Which bits are your kids doing to get so many points? I can get my two on the case but I can't see what to do! Please help:D
