I worked for them once, I was one of the people who phoned around saying "so when you wrote to us saying this did you really mean it?" and phoning to say "you haven't confirmed how much you earnt in the last year"

Easiest job but kind of scary some of the things you heard and asking people for their information.

I gave up on mine and due to changes in salary bands we no longer qualify, once we were seen as two incomes (and still reasonable) not one I felt guilty. Though I feel guilty about a lot of things you get i.e. CSA or JSA. Stupid isn't it.

Surely it will be good news with your change in circumstances

Though counter thought now, after all these changes I might end up with another £55 a month. Just for checking my tax code and querying the payment schedule on child support.

    Ok guilty feeling gone now

Bet you have a mine of stories to tell. I worked for 5 years for a bank and still chuckle at some of the random things that happened when customers called in!

    Great epic post Jemma!

£9k is a bit of a made-up milestone (cos £10k would be better :rotfl::rotfl:) but it still seems worth celebrating :D

Just a quick update from me.

Jemma, I work with adults & their children in Children's Centres, & schools etc - teaching several different courses - it's mainly communication between parents/carers and their children.

Hope the poorly people are feeling better and we are looking forward to the Jubilee weekend.
