Just got back from the allotment, I can understand why they had concerns the weeds must have loved the bad weather recently as my green manure had grown up 4ft tall, the grass had shot up and there was lots of sticky weed everywhere. Cleared it all down though, dug the bottom bed again and planted my 20 chitted potatos, and weeded really well all around my lovely looking garlic and onions. I still have one row to sort out, but that can wait until next weekend. Tonight I'm going to quilt a baby blanket.
Oh I went into the petrol station to fill up for work tomorrow with the intention of putting it on the "only for expenses" c/c, but I apparently can't remember my pin number =/ I'm sure it hasn't changed since the last time I used it, or maybe I'm having a blonde moment,
Rosiest, sorry you're feeling a bit glumit will get better and there will be other houses honest!

OMG what a horrendous weekend from start to spectacular finish...
On Friday, my friend from work was in floods of tears as her best friend had tried to make her smoke again even though she gave up 2 weeks ago! She even started yelling at my friend to the point where my friend walked out and went back home. What an awful thing to do when someone has given up, which is unbelievably difficult! What kind of a friend does that???
Then on Saturday my younger sisters had a MASSIVE bust up about the business as my youngest sister had gone and done something so selfish that I quite honestly don't know if they will recover from this. Since my younger sisters don't speak to my older sister and my dad doesn't speak to my grandma then my younger sisters not speaking will just add to my issues at the family UN... I very much doubt that they will ever be on speaking term again. I spent Saturday trying to sort this out.
Also, the business has not being doing well as they have had to put in a new software package which has meant taking all the products off the websites for a few weeks so they've had virtually no money coming in. Add to that the fiasco between my sisters because my youngest signed a contract, for a LOT of money that the business doesn't have, for herself, then you get the situation where my younger sister who owns the company has the whole world on her shoulders at only 25. I have transferred all my savings over to help the business stay afloat until the sales start to go up when the new software goes live on Wednesday... It's not ideal but it's no risk as they have so much stock that if things were to go pear shaped then we'd have enough money just by selling each shoe for £1 for us to get our money back. However, this is worst case scenario and this is just a timing issue with the software after which the sales should rocket. However, I know have a big fat £0.00 in my accounts... Not a nice feeling...
Then we come to today... Me and my mum did the race for life with my grandma watching. My dad didn't want to come but when we got home he wouldn't speak to us properly as we'd taken my grandma. He said he would have been there if my mum had said she wanted him there but why did we have to take my grandma. He always feels like she comes between him and my mum. Parents! Anyway, it gets much worse... we were sitting down for tea (for food, not the drink!) when my best friend rings me in floods of tears as her mum had said something pretty bad to her (verbal) and she couldn't handle it. I went round and have spent the last 5-6hours with my best friend, her mum and grandma, trying to help them resolve this. Every single one of them was in floods of tears, absolutely sobbing their hearts out and it was incredibly tough as there were deep rooted issues that had blown to the surface in spectacular fashion. The fact that my friends dad had died 6 months ago only meant that the grief added to the issues and clouded them. The outcome is that tomorrow (on my day off) I'm helping my friend find a house to buy so she can move out and make plans to change her life to how she wants it but before that I need to go to my family's business and try to help them sort things out both between themselves and withing the business so they start selling as quickly as possible. My younger sister is very good but she has too much on her plate and needs help and support.
All in all, I'm knackered and just want to sleep and forget about this weekend. I am really worried about what will happen between my parents but it is up to them to do something about it, not me. It's so hard seeing so many poeple in distress...
Sorry for this post but I think I just needed to get it all off my chest. I hope you're all well and have had a great weekend xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
