Fritterprincess – it’s lovely to hear from you again and I love that you’re a 50%!!! How are you doing besides being at 50%? Oh I agree that it did take a lot of guts for affordmylife to come back and make such a lovely apology, it’s just good to have her back.

    Thanks Jemma,
I'm fine thanks. Sorry to hear you had a rough time with your family. I'm very much the peace maker in my family, so I know how frustrating it can be. The fact is they are all grown ups and sometimes you have to let them sort things out themselves.

I'm really happy to have reached the 50% mark, but I'm anticipating that the last 50% will be a little more tricky. Before I was simply paying off credit cards, so I would get paid and then pay off a large chunk each month. But the rest of my debt is an overdraft, so I'm going to have be controlled and not spend up to my normal limit. I think I'm going to have to be ruthless and reduce my overdraft limit each month to take that temptation away!!
I get paid on thursday and I'm also due some overtime payments as well, and luckily its financially a quiet month for us so hopefully it should be okay.

Does anyone else feel like they are counting down the days till payday, not particularly because they are skint but because they want to make another big payment? Can't wait for the day that I get paid and can see it in credit in my account and I know what I can afford. Not too long to go!

Well today I'm celebrating my birthday with a cup of coffee, chocolate croissant and a quiet house!-so rock and roll!! Unfortunately I'm working a nightshift tonight, and will have to fit in some exercise at some point to burn off the croissant!

Well done to everyone with their debt busting. Thanks again Jemma for all your hard work and support, your updates are truly epic!

    Enjoy the lovely sunny day.xxxx

  • Happy Birthday FP :) I am the same, waiting for payday to pay a chunk off!

My savings were paid to my CU loan today so I'm officially down to just 2 debts! Both 0% on cc, one was only 6 months though so I need to check when that ends as I think it's soon.
