Oh no, Jemma. I'm so sorry you had such a hectic weekend. They are lucky to have someone like you around to help and listen. Hope everything starts improving immediately for you.
Seriously, don't worry about updating this thread for a bit. Once of us can try and keep up if you want. And we are here for you to rant

Oh Jemma, that sounds about as bad as it can get. I hope your family and friends know how lucky they are to have someone they can lean on like you.
I suppose house hunting isn't too bad a way to spend a day though, unless you had anything planned for yourself? And make sure you don't tell anyone about your next day off, so you can just spend it doing something you want to do.
In my experience though, family businesses are often where the most bickering and arguments are, as there are always personal issues colouring every argument and debate.
Hope you have a good night's sleep at least.

Hats off to you Jemma - you have a lot on your plate and are dealing with it all fantastically.
PS. If you want to hand over the spreadsheet/updating for a while feel free to PM me.
Thank you, I will include the amount as I have saved it so I should recognise that achievement!
Depending on how tomorrow goes with both my sisters, the business and my best friend then I may just all upon you to help with the updating so thanks for the offer, it's really appreciated. Ultimately though, with the exception of helping with the business, all I can do is advise and be there to support my best friend/sisters through their problems and hope that my parents can learn from what happened last Christmas and not make the same mistakes again...
Thank you IWN xxxmumof3plusoh wrote: »Oh Jemma what a weekend. You are an absolute star trying to help everyone sort things out. Families are a blessing and a nightmare especially when they fall out. You are a fantastic person to also help out finantially too. I hope tomorrow is a better day. Sending ((hugs)). And well done on the Race for Life.:j:j
Thank you for your lovely words mumof3plusoh, and for the congrats on the race for life, I'm quite pleased I managed to complete it as I've been having dizzy spells all week so have been worried I wouldn't be able to do it. It was actually pretty emotional reading all the names written on people's backs for who they were running for and thinking about the people written on the on my own back. It just brought home how many people are affected by cancer and what an amazing thing the race for life is by empowering people to make a difference ( p.s. However, I don't agree that it should be women only - cancer isn't just something that affects women so it should be open to all!) xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

RANT ALERT
I generally had a good weekend, but I'm quite annoyed at my flatmate (thankfully only 11 days left :T). We went out on Friday night for a few drinks, and she invited her boyfriend (fair enough obv). However, there was just the three of us drinking wine, and he was paying for theirs. So it ended up that me and him took it in turns to buy wine, and neither of them seemed aware that I was therefore buying way more than I was drinking . I really need to get better at standing up for myself in these situations!
Then on Saturday night I was trying to watch the football, and she kept interrupting with holiday photos. In the end I just ignored her and concentrated on the TV :rotfl:. On Sunday, every time he texted her I got to know what was going on. For instance, "my boyf is having mashed potato for dinner", like I actually care!!! I wouldn't be interested in what my own boyfriend is having for dinner, why would I care about hers?!
And they are incredibly coupley, which is embarrassing on a night out. But even worse is that they are like that in the living room of the flat, so it makes me feel all uncomfortable so I have to hide in my room. So she just emailed to say she's all excited cos he's coming over for the WHOLE WEEKEND!:mad::mad: I'm tempted to go home this weekend just to escape. It doesn't seem worth saying anything as I'm leaving, but if I have to cope with them all weekend I might actually explode.
Okay, rant over. I think I just needed to get that out of my system.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

I thought it was worth saying not to cry over it! You might have lost weight and gained muscle? Or it could just be a certain time of the month? (you don't have to answer that one!) Our bodies fluctuate so much with water weight and all that nonsense.
I've been trying to lose weight for ages, but I've only lost about 1.5 st over 6 months because I keep sabotaging myself. I know I've had a few splurges but the biggest problem I have is the cost of dieting! Healthy food is so expensive and as much as I want to lose the weight, I know it means buying a whole new wardrobe 3 times over as I lose the 3 dress sizes I want.
Thanks minicooper, I thunk I was feeling  because I really thought I'd have made some pregress as I was sooooo good, for once.Blimey, I have a busy 24 hours and look what happens!! :T
Same here but I have to watch my resolve slipping!! Luckily I am still focused on this and hopefully you will be too thanks to this thread
Perhaps your good week will show next week? I lost 1lb after being really good last week, not so good this week but had a 4lb loss! :j:j Don't give up

Jemma - sounds like you're being very strong for everyone else :A
Well this weekend, Hubby made £36 on fleabay (My dress sold for £30!) and has contributed £50 to both my credit card and the holiday fund. Ended up spending far too much on shopping in Mr S, though I did buy some cheap tops. Losing weight really is an expensive do. Hubby's bithday is the first week in July and he reminded me this morning that by then I will have paid off my loan and will be just left with the CC, guess there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Antonia - I'd have a rant too, hope you feel better for it0 -
Sounds like we've all has a right weekend!

Well going to pull myself out of the doldrums, went out on Friday and good time. Dinner was quite cheap 3 course for £12.99 at pizza express (voucher on their website valid for weekend use)
Kid has really pulled his socks up and been well behaved so quietly impressed with at the moment. Husband is assured his bonus is due soon, though they said that last pay day. Would like to get to the high 50's by next payday. Just sent paperwork off for house sale in france, though not planning anything due to the dire states of the market.
Hope Monday is treating you better then the weekend
