Got a box of cereal I bought yesterday out of my store today and its 7 weeks out of date  Mr T I am not impressed! Have written to Mr T and Quakers about it (at £2.39 a box thats a fortune to throw in the bin )
Hopefully they will come back and offer me a replacement box, its the only cereal I can eat (stupid allergies) so though I had 12 other boxes in there (which are all in date) I dont see why I should be down a box because they dont check their BBD's

Oooh Jakes-mum, you might get a lovely voucher headed your way.:D
I have to put my hand up and say I'm rubbish at responding to people unless it's in the last couple of posts. I'm usually catching up with 1/2 a page to a page worth of posts at a time. Sometimes I write my drivel, hit the reply button and then realise there was someone else I wanted to congratulate/mention.
So it really isn't personal, it's just that we're all human and truth be told, we don't know half of the stress that's going on in each other's lives.
So big hugs to all of you (oh no, that dodgy smiley is coming . . :grouphug:)Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Noooo Jakes-Mum - don't throw it in the bin. We eat stuff months out of date in our house(not meat etc though) If it looks ok & smells ok it surely will be OK.
Fingers crossed for a voucher though :T10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:0 -
Morning all!
Started the day off MSE style - been for a free swim, had a free shower there then dried my hair at work for free (20p to use the dryer at the pool!) Ok, so I had to buy a little hairdryer to leave at work but used Necta points to buy it so it was kind of freeeeeee! :T Will have to do a wash tonight though of our swimming stuff, only enough powder left for one more wash
kerri - found half a galic baguette lurking in the back of the freezer to appease Hubby's cravingTold him not to complain on Friday morning when I've lost more weight than he has this week :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well and cheery today, have a good un xx
ps used to thank all posts but it kept reloading the page after every thanks and took ages, don't do it now unless I'm at home0 -

Hi loubie, no the report did not get finished! I got all my stuff done and I am STILL waiting for stuff from my colleagues. However, I have decided I don't really care, and it is not my problem. I am leaving in two weeks and as long as I try my best I'm not going to get worked up.
Thanks for everyone's LBM stories, I find these things fascinating - that we all reached the same point of choosing to pay off debts but we all did it in different ways.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Jesus, I am away for a few hours while I go to the cinema and all hell breaks loose!!!!
I've really been struggling for the last few days to catch up with everyone's posts as I've had a lot going on but I do try to read everyone's posts each day. When I do my updating now I have MSE open, my spreadsheet open and I also have a word document open so I can comment on everyone's posts. I think the word count on this is currently up to 1200 words! I like to try and include EVERYONE on these posts as it's the only way I feel I can make everyone feel part of the team. However, I keep almost catching up but then I fall behind again so my epic post actually has comments on from Bank Holiday Monday and onwards and I just keep adding to it!
I really appreciate your comments thanking me for the work I do on here. It does take a lot of time to manage (2hrs+ a day on average) but I want to assure you all that I love doing it and look forward to reading what you've all been up to and share the lows and the highs with you. I am proud of each and every one of you without exception as you are all an inspiration to me and I probably would have given up months ago if there wasn't such an amazing support group on here.
I am genuinely sorry if anyone is ever offended on this thread but there are so many people on here with different opinions that it is hard to please everyone.
Anyway, I'm off now into a meeting so must dash! Catch you all later! xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
