Oops, I may have just realised why I have felt a bit dizzy today, after all the exercise I've done throughout the day I have only had 620 net calories...I should be on 1350 for the day (1799 including the exercise allowed). I don't feel hungry though so hopefully it should counter-act a bad day...

Jemma, just do it. If you're at the back it'll motivate you to pull your socks at to get to the front. Nothing worse than being at the front and not being able to compare against anyone else :p

I've just checked if the heating is on as I'm burning up, almost sweating! I think my sinus infection is finally being fought off by the lovely knights that are the white blood cells in my body, but I feel rotten bleurgh :( hate hayfever!

Kerfuffle – how are you doing hun? You’ve been a bit quiet lately and I’ve been a bit worried about you... x

Aww mf0u, I'm still here , reading and lurking and plodding on. I'm a fairly quiet person in real life and am quite happy to sit, listen and people watch, so if I don't speak up much it's not 'cos there's anything wrong, I just don't have much to say <<shrug>>. I just sit here and read, and nod sagely with empathy at everybody's trials and tribulations, sometimes I laugh out loud with you all, and mainly I'm just here on the same bumpy road sharing the journey. Don't worry about me, I'm plodding right beside you xx

    Hi there !
Just having a mad rush through all your lovely updates. My Mum has flown back home and I do what I always do to combat the feelings if loss and homesickness...I bury myself in my extra work. I don't like the DH and kids to see me sad, so I do a lot of extra hours. I kind of miss havIng someone there to boss me about a bit and tell me not to work so hard, as my DH leaves it up to me and is just thankful that someone is taking responsibility for the debt!
J-M...delighted that the DLA decision went in your favour-lovely to hear someone getting good news from that source for once!
Psycho...thanks for the update about Harry Potter visit. I dont know anyone else who has been; all of my kids are huge fans, so after your review, it is a definite Must Do during our trip home next year!
Brandnewstart...thanks for the link to your diary-i look foreward to reading it and getting to know ya during my lunch break at midnight !
Tryinghard...good luck with the hunt for a second job!
Shrewbie...your description of the brekkie had me SALIVATING. The sausages and bacon here are made (and served!) with maple syrup here-icky!
Kerri-wish we could meet up for a pint and talk all things Crafty. I'm liking this weeks challenge. We have a family membership to the local community centre and we never use it. I just eat rubbish foods when I'm On Nights, so I may try and squeeze in a swim this week, end though I look like the back of a bus in my swimming togs? (do people still call them togs? Do people still say 'it's all gone Pete Tong' when things go wrong? Time I got to the UK and updated my slang again!
Jemma..only 233 days left - time is going by so fast!
Kerfuffle...big shout out to you! xox

    Hi kerfuffle!
Yes, we get paid every 2 weeks here - all our repayments are a combo
Of mine and DH's. I am hoping to get the last of it paid back by the summer and then I will finally be able to relax! I came here with so many plans of traveling - not even to Vegas or Hawaii like my work colleagues - I would be happy with a weeks camping on Vancouver Island! Do u have anything planned for the summer?
Yes I have seen Housewives and what fine specimens of womanhood they are too- ha ha! Vancouver itself is v photogenic and I like the shots taken of English Bay and Stanley Park. If u ever fancy a visit - I would make u a cup of real tea ( brought over by my mother). Mind you, I ration the tea and one bag would be dipped in each mug! You understand I'm sure!

    Good Morning all,

Hmmm think im going to have to bow out of this weeks challenge immediately again :( unfortunately health problems, disability and an inability to drive for more than 10 minutes does not leave alot of room to manuever (sp?). I usually 'save' up all my going outside energy for getting Jake to his after school activities and getting to the shop.

I have just signed Lily up to swimming lessons though (just waiting for a phone call with a space) and emailed a lady about tap dancing lessons . . so though they are not technically MY activities, I will see other mums at these things, maybe I could class this as an attempt to meet new people?

I won't earn enough before Christmas to pay them all off, unless I can get some bank work but at least aiming to have the Nationwide overdraft gone totally as I pay interest on that unlike the CO OP one, and then a good amount off the car.

Hi miss emmajae- welcome to the group! I notice you say you have £1700 in an interest free student account and £1850 (?) in a non-interest free student account. Try moving your student account (it's allowed as long as you close the other one!) to one that gives you a higher interest free limit- at least that way you will save yourself the interest each month! Halifax/BoS give £2700, and there are others that give up to about £3k! The money you save on interest will go on debt busting! Martin has a really good page that shows you who offers what.
