Aww mf0u, I'm still here , reading and lurking and plodding on. I'm a fairly quiet person in real life and am quite happy to sit, listen and people watch, so if I don't speak up much it's not 'cos there's anything wrong, I just don't have much to say <<shrug>>. I just sit here and read, and nod sagely with empathy at everybody's trials and tribulations, sometimes I laugh out loud with you all, and mainly I'm just here on the same bumpy road sharing the journey. Don't worry about me, I'm plodding right beside you xx
Love this way of putting it - that's me too-people watching and plodding along on this shared journey :TDebt Free. Have my Van.Find dream

Happy bank hol to everyone
I haven't made any progress, get my bursary next Friday and until then have no spare money. I made our weekly meal plan from food we had in, so don't have to do any shopping this week aside from picking up a few bits of fruit from Aldi. Going to try and do the same next week - will help us eat up the food we have in rather than just adding to it ... then when my bursary arrives I can buy what we need.
Love these forums for motivation, their really keep me going!0 -

VW thanks, that was my way of thinking as well, loads of arty farty crafty people would suit me to a T, unlike London where it's all "let's go to a bar and drink our lives away" booooooring!
J-M, yes taking Ms Lilly to classes where you can meet people counts so don't discount yourself from this weeks challenge so quickly missy
I've got terrible earache/sinus pain todayhad to bow out of my aunties 50th that I had been looking forward to
my expenses are still missing and I fear I may have to borrow money from the OH *sobs* I reallly don't want to do that as I should be able to look after my finances, I have just under £500 due back to me.
The most annoying thing is... I WANT TO PAY OFF MORE DEBT but can'thope everyone else is having a lovely bank holiday *hugs* to those that need it xx

Going to watch some vampire diaries then try to do some crafty sewing a bit later on to cheer myself up. I have purses and ereader covers to make for the craft fair.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hi everybody
Hope everyone is having a lovely bank holiday weekend! I'm off today and tomorrow but only because it is my days off this week- was working Saturday and Sunday. The joys of working in retail :rotfl:
Just a small update from me, have been paying off tiny amounts recently. Need to focus on spending less then I will have more available to pay off!

Scraped £30 from my own account until tomorrow, the lack of payment since Thursday was driving me a little potty!!
#084 £6750 / £58000
Big payment tomorrow of £1300 I hope as long as everything due to come in clears and mortgage payment goes through with enough to spare. That would take us just under £50k left to pay off too so got everything crossed...there doesn't seem to be a smily for that so I'll do a little dance instead :dance:DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Hey all.
Long weekend for me of spending and more spending
I think I have to admit defeat in paying ALL my debts off before Christmas  Unless I win a small fortune of course.
The month is only going to get more expensive as I am going to Brighton this weekend too. But I am going to make this as cheap as possible.
On a positive note, I won £50 at the casino last night (friend's 30th) and it was from a free bet they gave us too!) That is going to pay for my cars MOT, even though it won't pass. So that means some scrappage money and from next month I won't have a car to pay for I don't think!
I also passed £100 in my (not so) sealed pot!In debt no more!0 -
Blimey, the bank just contacted me thinking I was being defrauded by someone paying multiple payments to a CC...:oDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0
