My decluttering for retirement and - keep fingers crossed - move to small house, is going great guns. Cupboards, drawers and garage have all been gone through.

I found a length of sturdy fabric I made shopping bags out of and gave two away. The rest has gone down to the charity shop. All the old crockery that has been sitting in the garage - in case - has gone. I find every time I go through there are more 'treasures' I couldn't bear to part with that I find I can live without.

I am finding the process very emotional. It is like stripping oneself to the bone. All of a sudden it seems real!!!! :p

Thank you for the advice about eBay, I'll check those out later today. I looked up completed listings for some of the CDs I'm getting rid of, and a few have been going for £1-£2 each or so - which is better than nothing! So I might try listing them instead of giving them away.

Can't wait till the cheap listing day, I can hardly see the carpet in my office from all the stuff that's built up and I want it all gone!

Moanymoany, sounds like you are doing a wonderful job there! The move will be so much easier the less stuff you have, and then your smaller house will feel bigger too! :D I wish you a very happy retirement!

Thanks very much for that info, I'm giving Turbolister a try and if I don't get on with that I'll try Auctiva. Have done the details for 53 listings so far today, phew! Much quicker this way provided the upload goes OK. Another 10 or so still to do later (the more complicated ones!)...

Hoping to make a minimum of £100 from this :D

Turbolister is great, but it will download the lot as soon as you go onto Ebay, so you won't be able to schedule. Also, any extra pictures will be charged.

Turbolister is great and you can schedule listings so they don't start straight away. I think if you have selling manager pro you don't get charged for scheduling. You can always put your listings through turbolister and then on the day just upload them all. There is a way of putting pictures up without extra charge...

Sorry, I obviously haven't been using turbolister properly :o If it does free scheduling and extra photos free, then it sounds as good as Auctiva.
