Nice to meet you Lemon Tree! I'm new on the thread too. If you need a kick, what about posting here which job you'll tackle next? Then tell us when it's done :D

Sola that is a LOT of work this weekend! I am feeling quite exhausted just looking at your list :rotfl:

Pigpen, 100 items  well, if you can do that I can certainly tackle the much smaller ebay pile sitting near my workstation here!

Think I'll do a toiletries sort out tomorrow, a very easy job as I don't have much but there are a few things I'll probably never get around to using.

Great idea about the "car boot lot" on Freecycle by the way!

    Tattycath, great tip thank you!

For anyone who's interested, half price listing day on ebay 24 Jan

That's my next job lined up then - ebay listing preparations!
  • My kitchen is finally de-cluttered, I sorted all my cupboards & cleared out all the stuff I didn't want but for weeks couldn't find a way of getting rid of it all. Today I finally got rid of the whole lot to someone on Freecycle, he arrived when he said he would & took the lot, woo hoo.

I've decided i'm going to get back into de cluttering my dvd collection, will list them at work this week and see if there's any interest in them.

Wonder what will be a good way to try and sell some crafting magazines i've got tonnes of them and i just never look through them any more.

Also doing a general tidy up as well at the moment so i can see the benefit of my decluttering.

Hi all, I did the toiletries sort out yesterday, yielded about a shoebox worth which is a pretty decent reduction as there wasn't much to start with. I'm not really into make-up etc, I can hold in one hand the few bits I have, haha. I do like my body lotions and bath stuff though!

Next I'm going to sort out my home office cupboard, I doubt there's much I can get rid of because I need it all for work, but I'm sure I can make it more organised.

Please keep posting what clearout jobs you're all doing, as I'm beginning to run out of ideas!

I now have floor to ceiling bookshelves in the alcoves either side of the bed! DH and stepson did a fantastic job. Finally ... after 7 years. It's taken a few hundred of the most important books, and we still have to find homes for more of them, but it's a start.

Great Sola! You must be really pleased. Wow, you must have a lot of books too...! I thought I had a lot but mine fit on 5 shelves (after the sort out). It's mostly travel guides, travel writing and languages.

I've changed my mind, I'm going to have another kitchen sort out next. It was done just a few weeks ago but I think a "second pass" is necessary :)

Hi everyone. I've made a start on soring out the bedding-I have 2 binliners full so far-for either recycle box or charity shop. Have also sorted out most of my clothes-again and have a binliner full for recycling and a few bits and pieces to put on ebay. Still got loads to do!!! Well done so far everyone.
