Well, things have moved slowly this week, but at least in the right direction.
I've freecycled 9 big empty Roses tins, and underbed storage tub, and a broken laundry basket (the tins were in it, and the chap said he'd take it if I didn't want it - saves me a trip to the tip). I also have times arranged for a bag of packaging and two carriers of jam jars to go.
The school fete ended up getting two carriers of books, and about 6 bags of toys - could have taken more but ran out of time and buggy space.
I've got a load of stuff in the local paper this week - so far only sold one small item, but hopefully things will pick up over the weekend.
Mum took half a dozen blacks bags of clothes away last weekend to sort out for me - they're all stuff the boys have outgrown, so until it's sorted by size, I won't know what I can sell and what I need to store - don't quite know how it backed up that much, but the shear scale of it has meant I've not had the chance to do it.
Still have loads of boxes around - enough to make the letting agent comment on the inspection - but these things can't be helped.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

I'm joining in with this great de-clutter! It's just taking me an age to get through everything... my fiance and I seem to have accumulated quite a collection of random junk over the years!
We put a load of CDs, DVDs etc., on eBay recently and made around £200 which was fantastic! I think I'll need to set aside another full day to list the remaining stuff I have lying around though.
It WILL be worth it though... just got to keep the motivation up. Reading everyone's comments on here has helped greatly. There is a light at the end of every tunnel... just pray it’s not a train! _pale_0 -
