I have never ebayed, but found Amazon Marketplace really simple. You just register, bung in the ISBNs, choose a condition and a price. Also check out play.com for selling books :)

Amazon is not good for heavy items.. I won't use it the fees are pure extortion and they charge the buyer £3 for postage and you get 50p.. it is disgusting!! .. I've ranted about this before so I'll not do it again!

No, I found it's good for textbooks, but play.com looks quite promising otherwise.

    Hi all,

    A quick update.

Not much decluttering happened today, although I posted up a load of scanned photos on facebook and have decided to bin the originals as I still have a huge box of them to store.

Am also considering scanning some more to post up online to bin the originals too.

I haven't posted on this thread for over a month :o other things took over

Still been doing our best with decluttering and reorganising.

Whole box full of paper went for recycling the other week, things left over from my teacher training that had sat in the garage for 18 months - not going to need them and most on computer anyway

Lots of shreading been done too and some added to compost bin to help that along.

2 bags of 'non-wearable' clothes in Yorkshire Air Ambulance banks as they accept old clothes.

2 bags of good clothes to charity shop, and got a free calico bag in return (ok I'm supposed to be decluttering but this is useful :p)

2 desks sold through work and some lightbulbs we can't use - £28 and 1 desk going next week hopefully, will leave a big space in the garage.

So not doing too badly. Plan for this week is:

Get my old computer out, test it and then try and sell/freecycle,
Make sure we get rid of desk and reorder things in garage with new space.
Go through car boot boxes, sort out what I've got, prepare it for sale and then find one to do!
Go through some little teddy bear ornemants I collected when I was younger and work out which ones (if any) I want to keep and what to do with rest.

    That should keep me busy.
