crafty scholar - I kept the chest of drawers I've got........fits in very neatly between the recess and the wardrobe and houses undies and stuff...........
Does make it easier to see what's what without the pile of jumpers that used to fall out at my feet but I'm still wearing the same old things.............habit ??
Electronic typewriter is hipefully on its way to a new home. Ex foster girls sister has taken it and will take it to a boot fair.

Can';t work out this e bay lark...............had a look just to see what price my music papers would get and it seems to vary depending on what I type in..........Nerw Musical Express brings up one lot of prices, NME another
Same with History of Rock Mags............got really excited at seeing some looking as it they were going for £11 each............came off the page, went back again and they were 99p !!!! So, don't know whether I can book a holiday yet or not...............................lol
Glad I passed my lot over for someone else to sort out. Think I'd have gone bonkers with it all....................lol
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Well, today I've got rid of 2 bags of rubbish and have another 3 bin bags to go to the charity shop. :T
Also, going to list 4 large "collection only" items on Ebay tonight.
Do have a couple more large items to list but they are missing a couple of parts so will look for those this weekend before listing but I have a feeling hubby may have chucked the parts!

    Well done everyone.

PS See Ebay have put up their fees to 7.5% since I last sold on there.
 Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I guess this just depends what the seller has written in the title? (Maybe?)

If I was listing, I'd use a format like this for the title:
"New Musical Express (NME) 1983: Bono/U2, Duran Duran etc"

I'd try to get as many famous acts names in the title as possible if they are featured in the edition because that's what their fans will search for. Obviously you're limited by character count. I might consider putting just NME :)

Well, I am shattered! I have been working long days all week and have been to Belfast and back today. After tomorrow, my hours will be 57+ hours for a week when I am only paid for 37.5 hours! I must be a lunatic!

Tomorrow will no doubt be as fraught, but I am planning to still spend some time over the Bank holiday having a clear out.

MiL and FiL are coming over on Sunday, but that leaves Saturday for a sort out with OH, although I am not going to kill myself to be honest.... I think I need to give myself some time to get over the last two weeks!

Sounds like everyone is doing fabulously - well done!!!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

i agree with pigpen & missy g, re ebay. we normally start everything at 99p - some things go for just that but some will surprise you and fly off:j . use kitchen scales to weigh your items and check the royal mail website for postal prices & remember to add some for packaging.

better to get something back for it than the nothing it is worth in your cupboards.

just list a few items, to get the hang of it at first if you prefer.

Added 5 items to ebay for OH and 2 for me, decided just to list brand new suits as it's my first adventure with clothes

OH is packing things up in our office as I type as we're going to paint it over the weekend and while he's going it I keep seeing things fly into the rubbish and recycling bins so it's serving 2 purposes and everything that comes in here after it's been decorated and we have our new furniture has to be sorted in and found a home - hoping for a big declutter then ;)
