I would like to offer a great big enormous THANK YOU to all who sent me kind words both publicly and privately – I was a blubbering wreck! Please be patient it will take me a long time to thank you all!

I am almost back to full health now which means back to work properly next week (I did a few days this week and have to admit to be shattered!)

I had some ‘me’ time away from here and even read a few books- although none as interesting as the Elite Saga

now i feel good, shame its back to work monday though! met up with my 2 friends from mse and friends outwith mse, my family look quite puzzled when i have been having treats this week, not that its grudged, they are just not used to it.
been having problems with a really sore mouth for about 2 years now, oral thrush, been on everything for it (about 30 prescriptions) it just won't budge, back on nystatin this week, finally been refered to an oral surgeon, so maybe I'm going to have my mouth removed sometime soon!
Told gp i am sick of being fobbed off, that went down well!!
i also suffer from fibromyalgia but my gp refused to look at the biggar picture!
ofcourse with me being very medical and having the internet i have made a few suggestions that also went down like a lead balloon, he wanted to prescribe my amitriptaline for nerve pain in my mouth, yet my swab came back for oral thrush! I feel pretty insulted by gp's!
no offence to any helpful gp's/doctors out there obviously.
on a lighter note, i'm off to check out all your posts and wish you all well. take care xxxxxxx

Well done on treating yourself, I love a girly pamper, especially if it is through MSE!:D need to find a really good pampering spa experinece for a friends hen do and am hoping MSE will come up with a good offer for me!:D
Good luck with your oral thrush, hope it gets well soon, maybe you could transfer to a new GP if you are not too keen on your current one.

You should see my pantry can't get another thing in it, currently got over 1000 nappies among other items..
Got over a £100 worth of food for £15 yesterday with various deals and coupons..

Poeple do what they need to right now, I don't think anyone should be judged for getting by..

talking of people doing what they need to do, here is my story

Misery Guts is very imminently being made redundant.

My parents are struggling on just one modest income, which is quite a bit less than my own. I therefore help them out when I can with glitchy/cheap stuff.

I have friends with babies. I help them out with cheap stuff from T's when I can.

Just because you dont know any of my reasons for being here, it doesnt make my reasons any less valid than anyone elses here.
