No time to be on here artha.. get that adhesive down and put your washing on pronto :D:D crack on mate

Can't do the tiles yet. Waiting for the Tesco Topps Tiles vouchers to arrive before buying and a bit of prep to the existing floor and walls:(. Although it goes against my MSE nature, OH wants to get a tiler in to do the floor so we can crack on and finish the utility room before starting the main job(complete kitchen refit:eek:)

Anyone had any experience of current floor tiler labour costs? It's 12m2 of 30cm x 30cm porcelain tiles onto existing partly porcelain tiled floor. Sorry to be a bit O/T but no time for Tesco news. Should really post on the DIY threads but at least on here I'm usually guaranteed a reply(whether useful or not:rotfl:)

2nd batch of washing on... taking a break to watch the GP highlights. See you all later:)
    Awaiting a new sig

No experience of floor tiles, whether they are cheaper/dearer than wall tiles; but I was quoted £60 per sq M for wall tiles recently. I thought that was:eek:, so am doing it myself.
You could also ask over on the DIY board for a ballpark figure.

    It's only a game

  • As for the planning, I started all this recently myself and I am sure everyone does it slightly differently. You will get the hang of what to get where, but to start with when I got confused I used to literally create a T list and put it with the coupons I was going to use with the list. Then the next list would have the coupons for that one and so on.

Next time you feel scared and green think of all of us behind you and push through, then tell us how you went. :D

Thank you so much for you kind words! Gosh, nearly well up...!!:p

Just back from whoopsie trek, Tesco's = 0 Sainsburys = 6 ... does it depend on the store what time they mark everything down? Last week I went to Sainsburys around 6.45pm (before (mis)fit club!) 3 night and that is good for whoopsies, but not got the hang of when Tesco's do their marking down.

The one with the red angry faces is my darling sister..HI SIS

You should see my pantry can't get another thing in it, currently got over 1000 nappies among other items..
Got over a £100 worth of food for £15 yesterday with various deals and coupons..

People do what they need to right now, I don't think anyone should be judged for getting by..

thanks sis. Had a few hours sleep now. Feeling better . Loved the frozen yoghurt. was thinking of getting some with my price flop and pricechecking it.

Redfox says be nice, so going to ignore negative chat and skip like HC.

Every store seems to vary, from the experience I have had. Generally the Ts I usually visit tend to reduce an hour or two before closing, depending on the day of the week, though I have been to one which was reducing 5 min before closing.

You have to realise that reductions are an aspect of work for staff and so sometimes are not done as precisely in T as they are not always quite so organised. :D:p:D

Your T trip sounds like my local Morrisons!

I'm glad you got good service in S's though. And even nicer that you made the effort to let them know too. People are too quick to complain about bad service but you never hear stories of good service. Good on you :D

Was going to congratulate Ben and jerry's on their frozen yoghurt:rotfl: But could make the tub bigger:rotfl:
